Authors pov

Serenity panted heavily as she fetch water from the well. It's been almost two hours, her hands has started burning after pulling on rough rope.

She grabbed the bucket which came out of the well after pulling with all her energy and watered the magical plants which only needs water from magical well and it's serenity's duty to water plants before sunrise.

It was last bucket She released the rope and bucket fell into the rope.

She leaned against the well compund and sat down to catch her breath. She wiped her sweaty forehead on her sleeves and threw her head back tired.

She looked at the sky and it was dark but not darker like her life. She took a painful breath and looked around,she is alone. No one is there for her.

From last five years she is working in University where they train new supernaturals. It's a big castle like buliding which has more than thousand rooms, it takes whole day to circle the campus. It's in middle of the dense forest where humans are prohibited. Castle is under spell, no human eyes can see it.

She is not professor or something, she is just a helper there. She water these magical plants. She cleans rooms and other similar works.

How did the most powerful supernatural in the world and The queen of supernatural world end up like this, what happened to her?

She looked at her hands, her wounds has stopped healing. It has started hurting like it does to humans.

Her eyes watered when she realised that her end is near, she is going to leave this world very soon. But she wants it, she wants to die because death will be much easier than her painful life. 

She took a support of well compound and stood up. She started walking out of the main gate.

Her legs are hurting after running here and there for whole day. She walked through the darkness, crushing dried leaves under her feet.

She is slowly loosing her powers and now she is on last stage. She knows that she will die once she lose all her powers. But before leaving this world she wants to see them.

Her mates! The kings!

Blue tears slide down from her eyes as her heart filled with pain. It's been hundred years she haven't seen them. Every second she wished for her death because it's not easy to leave without them.

Her legs halted on the edge of river, serenity gave her everything to her mates. She got so much connected to her mates that even slight change in their relationship affected her powers.

She can control her powers only with her emotions and last hundred years she is only in Grief and pain which results in loosing her all powers.

She dying every second but still couldn't leave the world because no one can kill her. She herself had no idea that how she can die but after some decades she noticed visible changes in her body and powers. She is becoming human again and human means death is inevitable.

She has no idea if she will ever be able to meet them. They hates her now and why not, they should be.

She looked at her bleeding hands and broke down. Pain is unbearable, not of that wound which is in hand but from that which is in heart. She never thought that her life will turn out like this.

She was happy with them and her Daughter. She had a family but everything got destroyed and she blames herself for this, not only her but everyone blames her for this. Even her mates.

She couldn't take that hate, it was very difficult to look into their hateful eyes, it killed her from within. No one believed in her so she left everything, there was nothing to hold on.

Serenity compelled everyone to forget her existence, no one knows that she was Queen except her mates because her powers doesn't work on them. She is living a normal life now.

They were supposed to trust her but they didn't. Mate bond was all about trust and they failed in that, all of them. She is punishing herself for everything.

Her heart clenched in pain when she thought about that day. She wiped her tears and stood on the edge.

She comes here everyday to jump in the river with the hope that some day death will embrace her. It will kill her just like it kills normal human being but to her disappointment she comes out alive every night to continue her painful life.

She closed her eyes and let her body fall in the deep water. Her body fell into the water with loud splash and went deep inside. Her long hair sprawled in water like curtains.

Her lungs started burning due to lack of oxygen but she didn't make any move for survival.

The memory of that day is still haunting her sleepless nights. The day where she lost her everything.
