2) Broken heart!

Authors pov

Her lungs started burning due to lack of oxygen but she didn't make any move for survival.

The memory of that day is still haunting her sleepless nights. The day where she lost her everything.

Flashback

"Sera, where are you?"

Lucifer was looking for serenity everywhere but he couldn't find her neither he could see Angel, their daughter.

"They must be Playing in the garden"

Vincent said coming from behind.

"I haven't seen them since morning..."

Nicolai replied, he was eager to see his daughter and love of his life.

Three brothers walked towards the Garden to look for their daughter and mate but they froze in their places when they saw what's happening in front of them.

They couldn't believe in their eyes, ground beneath their feet slipped away.

Their daughter was lying lifeless on the ground while her powers were getting sucked up by serenity. They could clearly see how serenity was consuming Angel's power.

"SERENITY!"

Lucifer yelled and all three of them rushed towards them to save Angel but it was too late.

Her all powers got transformed into serenity and angel's little body vanished into thin air leaving black Ash behind.

"No!"

They screamed and it brought serenity out of her daze.

Brothers was beyond shocked, their daughter died in front of them and they couldn't even get her dead body.

"What the fuck did you do?"

Lucifer growled angrily at serenity.

Serenity herself was shocked, she doesn't know what happened. It was like a compulsion. She had no idea what she was doing.

"Angel?... Where is she?"

Nicolai screamed.

"Nico, I don't know what happened.. i was___"

Serenity shook her head furiously as tears rolled down from her eyes.

"YOU KILLED HER"

Vincent yelled making everything tremble with his Powerful growl.

"She is my daughter too... How can I kill her"

She yelled in frustration.

Lucifer looked at her angrily.

"We saw it with our own eyes... How could you? Why did you kill your own daughter..."

Serenity looked at him in disbelief. Why it was so hard for them to believe her? How can they believe that she will kill her own daughter.

"I didn't... I don't know what happened."

She panicked.

"Nico please believe me."

She looked at Nicolai.

Nicolai looked at her with hatefull gaze and watery eyes.

"You don't know what happened?... If not you then who knows about it... It's impossible, you are lying. You are the most powerful and no one can control you then how you don't know."

"You were jealous of her"

Vincent said and serenity looked at him in disbelief.

"You were jealous of angel..."

"What?"

She was in disbelief knowing that they think like that.

"She was getting powerful and you don't want anyone to take your place in this world, not even your own daughter... You are so hungry for power that you snatched your daughter's powers..."

Vincent accused.

Serenity couldn't understand what to say after that, she never thought that they will think about her like this.

Brothers were blinded in anger, they had no idea what they are saying. They were mourning for their daughter.

Serenity stood there Frozen as they accused her for killing her daughter.

"We did everything for you... We were so happy, you destroyed everything serenity... I want my daughter back, BRING HER BACK"

Lucifer yelled.

"Why are you so hungry for power, haven't you had enough..."

Vincent spat hatefully.

"What can we except from a girl who has killed her own sister..."

Nicolai said and serenity looked at him with broken heart. She didn't expect this from Nicolai.

"Please trust me, i didn't do anything..."

She yelled while crying.

"You know me..."

She grabbed Nicolai's hands.

"Nico, you know I can't do anything like this..."

Nicolai was beyond angry, he wanted his daughter back. His little princess who was running everywhere in the castle with her tiny legs. Who was calling him dadda with her cute voice. He is still in shock after he saw serenity taking her life. His Angel is no more, he won't hear that cute voice anymore.

"Don't touch me"

He said and she couldn't believe in her ears. He was her safe place among three brothers and today he is not ready to believe in her.

Her heart was filled with pain, her mates were not ready to believe her and she lost her precious daughter. It was hard to cope up with pain.

She was about to touch her ashes but Vincent stopped her.

"Don't touch my daughter... You have lost all the rights. You are her murderer..."

He said hatefully.

It angered her. She has all rights on her daughter. Her anger brought her venom out and her body started turning angry blue.

"See, this is what you are"

Lucifer said with disgusted face.

"You are monster... Worst than i have ever met... You only know how to kill others, you can't satisfy your hunger for power... Don't hold back, kill is too and take our powers. You want to rule the world right?... Then kill us and everything will be yours..."

Her heart broke, anger changed into pain and her colour switched to normal. That was the last time she changed her form, after that she never let her turn blue in anger.

"Is it that hard for you to believe me?... I am your mate. Angel was my daughter too... I know I can't control my powers but i will never kill my own daughter."

She said with painful voice.

"Then tell me what happened"

Vincent demanded.

"Show me that moment..."

He held his hand in front of her.

Serenity herself wanted to see what happened with her. She can see past of anyone.

She grabbed Vincent's hand and their minds went back to the moment where she was playing with Angel. Serenity connected her mind with Vincent and show him everything.

Vincent's heart clenched in pain looking at his daughter. It was clearly seen that serenity pushed Angel down and sucked up her powers.

Serenity herself couldn't believe that she did this. Why and how? She doesn't remember anything.

Vincent looked at her hatefully.

"You proved yourself guilty... She killed our daughter."

Serenity stood there shocked. Her heart sunk in her chest after getting the burden of her own daughter's murder.

Lucifer clenched his jaw.

"Trust me i would have kill if i could... You are lucky that we can't kill you."

Those words pierced through her heart.

"Get out of our lives, we don't need a monster like you..."

Nicolai spat hatefully.

"You are worst than our mother... At least she didn't kill us by herself, but look at you. Standing proudly after taking your daughter's life... Shameless."

Vincent said venomously.

"We refused to take you as our mate... You are not a  queen of our world... As a King of this supernatural world, I exile you from our territory."

Lucifer declared and her heart shattered in pieces.

Nicolai gathered ashes of angel, his eyes were continuously shedding tears just like his brothers.

"I hate you serenity... I will never forgive you for this."

He mumbled.

Flashback ended.

Her eyes snapped open when those venomous words rang in her ears. Her heart clenched in pain after recollecting those memories.

She waited for her heartbeat to stop but the burning of lungs slowly disappeared and she realised that she is not going to die today.

There are still some powers remained in her and it won't let her die. She have to wait until it disappeared completely.

She swam out of the water, her long hair clung to her body just like her wet clothes.

From last hundred years she is waiting for her death. She can't live with the guilt of killing her own daughter. She has no idea how that happened, there is no way that she can kill her own daughter but she herself saw it and she is punishing herself for that.

After that day she never used her supernatural powers. She is living as a normal human being. She left luxurious life and took the path of hardwork where she will be distracted from her pain.

Her wait is finally over, she is near her end but before that she wants to see her mates. She doesn't blame them for hating her because now she herself hates her. One last time she wants to see them from afar and then she will die peacefully but she is not allowed to enter in their territory.

She always think what they must be doing without her.
