Chapter 6 Chris, You've Gone Too Far!

Arianna fell to the ground, the tray in her hands dropped, and the carefully prepared breakfast was wasted.

Chris shouted angrily, "How dare you hurt Chelsea!"

This slap landed in the same spot as a few days ago, and her previously healed face quickly swelled up again, with a hint of a bloody taste in her mouth.

Strangely, Arianna didn't feel much.

Once upon a time, just breathing the same air as Chris was happiness for her. Watching him eat the food she made was happiness. But now, even the pain he inflicted upon her was becoming numb.

She denied it numbly, "I didn't."

Chris grabbed her thin wrist forcefully, almost breaking it, and dragged her towards the front door.

He was already accustomed to the darkness and could navigate the villa without guidance. Dragging Arianna like a doll, he paid no attention to her potential bumps and bruises.

His assistant Edward Dawson was already waiting outside and, not surprised by Chris' cold treatment of Arianna, out of politeness or concern, asked, "Madam, shall I get you a pair of shoes?"

Arianna had lost her slippers and was standing barefoot on the stone path in the courtyard.

Chris impatiently shouted, "What are you dawdling for?"

"Thank you," she shook her head, smiled faintly, and got into the car.

She thought to herself, if Chris found tormenting her enjoyable, then she would comply with his wishes.

At Hospital.

Chelsea lay pale in the intensive care unit. The doctor solemnly said, "The patient suffered a severe blow to the waist, causing kidney damage and massive bleeding. We need to perform a kidney transplant as soon as possible!"

On the way there, Chris' expression was dark. He was furious, and finally released Arianna's hand, pushing her towards the doctor, and said decisively, "Use hers!"

Arianna took a sharp breath and shouted hoarsely, "Chris, you've gone too far! Who do you think you are to treat me like this?"

Chris couldn't see the defeated and lifeless expression on her face. He resolutely said, "Yesterday, you pushed Chelsea down the stairs at the revolving restaurant. It was caught on surveillance!"

"I didn't! It must be Chelsea framing me!"

"Chelsea is still in danger! Would she risk her life to frame you?" Chris directly ordered the doctor, "Use hers!"

The doctor shook his head, "Mr. Grimes, kidney transplantation depends on compatibility. I'll go check."

Arianna was forced to have her blood drawn. Soon, the results came out.

"Great news! The kidney compatibility between the two of them is a match!"

Chris was delighted and ordered, "Replace the patient's kidney immediately!"

"No!" Arianna stepped back, retreating to a corner until she had nowhere else to go, her back against the wall. She desperately shook her head, "Chris, believe me, I didn't push Chelsea. I really didn't!"

Edward opened the surveillance video, showing a woman pushing another woman down the stairs at the entrance of the restaurant...

Arianna stared in disbelief. The woman who pushed the other woman wore the same clothes as she did yesterday, and her hairstyle and figure were similar!

"That's not me? It's not..." Arianna's eyes filled with confusion, and her head began to ache.

Could it be that she really pushed Chelsea and forgot?

No, she would never do such a thing!

"No—! I can give my kidney to anyone, but not to Chelsea!"
