— Lexine Eerah Galvez: The Pilyang Heippies

*** Lexine's P.O.V.

"Elevic, what do you want?" Boss asked Cypher after we found a place to sit.

Cypher immediately snorted as he slumped down on the table. That's really how to think, it's too cute even though he did it unintentionally. If it was just the two of us, Cypher, I might have answered Boss's question to his son.

"I would like to eat steak with extra rice, a fries, a yum burger, and a large cup of coke float. That's all daddy! And oh! Don't forget to get lots of ketchup for my fries. Thanks." he said with a smile.

I laughed silently when my lips synced with what he said. Cypher and I ate at Jollibee near his school so often that I memorized those.

It's no joke that I took care of him for more than five years! Since he was one year old, I've been in love with him, so that's not impossible anymore.

"Oh I forgot. That's your favorite right buddy. My bad." his father replied with a smile.

It was really fun to see the fatherhood of one Tarvy Alistair Zuchary Shelton a.k.a the infamous Mafia Boss Death. If I was a different woman and didn't know Boss's true personality, I would have thought he was just a simple father.

Actually, it's not obvious that Boss is 30. He only looks like 26 hahaha... Just young. If the father and son don't look alike, they might just be mistaken for siblings.

Surprised when Boss suddenly turned to me, I still manage to compose myself and let him see my indifferent face.

"What are you waiting for? You heard my son. Now order his food." just as he commanded me.

I want to raise an eyebrow at him. Like what the hell is his problem towards me? If he doesn't like me why bother asking—I mean ordering me to go with him? If he has a grudge against me, just tell him and we'll fight! I can see that this man really hates me!

"Yes you—" I was cut off when Cypher interjected.

"Nah-uh Dad! Someone thought about men should always be gentle with women. And as far as I can remember, there is gender equality in the Philippines so be gentleman Dad." Cypher said cockily towards his father.

I was about to echo what Cypher said. Cause I know he's belonging to someone like me. Yeah, I want him to learn the right virtue despite his family background. At least he should be good to the woman he will marry.

Aww... What a proud mom here I am.

"And who the hell that someone told you that bluff?" his father asked him with raised eyebrows.

There was a trace of annoyance at what the son said. Hahaha... I'm really impressed with this kid. There is also mischief hidden.

"Oh! Someone from school Dad. I forgot though who it was from my teachers." He said that he seemed to really think about who Pontius Pilate told him that.

Damn this kid! I was trying hard to hold back the laughter that wanted to escape from me. Actually, I was laughing a while ago, I might fart. Pfft.

"And oh Daddy! You forgot to ask her for her food too. I know she hadn't eaten breakfast yet because of what happened yesterday night." Cypher suggested, making me stop.

What in the world does this kid plan to do? I will feel the anger of the father!

"But buddy, I am her boss. She should be the one who should follow me and order me around." Boss protested to Cypher while looking at his son in disbelief.

"Nah Daddy! Remember the gender equality? You want me to not believe that? You're a bad influence for me Dad!" he added and at that point I really wanted to burst out laughing.

What the hell Cypher! Hahahaha...

I heard Boss sigh deeply before shaking his head at his son. "Damn. All you will inherit from him is being lame. Fuck." he whispered softly which I could hear.

I raised my eyebrows. He means that Cypher's mother is somewhat.... Crippled?

What a revelation!

I sat straight as Boss turned to me seriously. But pay attention to the closeness of his eyebrows. I want to laugh again.

It looks like commander Cypher's boss is under? Pfft.

"What would you like to eat?" he asked me seriously, blankly, but frowning.

"Just burgers and drinks will do boss." I tried not to sound sarcastic when I called the boss.

"Shh." he asked before suddenly standing up.

He walked over to the counter, so I immediately looked at the scolding boy who had been kicking me in the leg.

"What the em Cypher, what nonsense are you planning for your father again huh? And you still really sympathize with me?" I asked the boy with narrowed eyes.

He just adorably bickered and because of his cuteness I just shook my head. I'm telling you, the boy is planning something mischievous about his father.

I then remembered the stories of Cypher's nanny when his father was in bed. It is said that the child is always tripping the father. And because he is an only child, Boss does nothing but let and indulge the child.

Hey.... Boss's image is good and not ruined among fellow Mafia Bosses. Thank you Thank you Thank you

Speaking of...

I smiled and faced the dear prince who was still giggling in his seat.

"Baby." I called him smiling.

He stopped giggling and looked at me in surprise. And when he saw my smiling face, his face immediately crumpled.

"Uh-oh... Seems like my mother has a plan." he said seriously while also smiling at me.

"Yes baby. And I know that we'll both like it." I said smiling still nodding at him.

"On the second thought, let's get it on mom. Hihihi..." he said to me with his eyebrows still rising and then giggled again.

Aww... This kid is really cute. Sometimes I feel like Cypher is sick. Brain pain, what's that called again? One body but many people.

He's sometimes serious just like his father and most of the time, childish and mischievous just like.... Me.

Hahahaha... Joke. Of course just like her mother as Boss said.

And finally! I can take revenge for Boss's concern for me!

"Dyaddyi, don't you waynt tyo eayt? Eyts sho gooyd wayht?" Cypher asked his Daddy and me with his mouth full.

"Yes. It's good." I said the second while wiping the side of Cypher's lips that were already stained with spaghetti sauce.

"Nah. Just by watching the both of you eat makes me...full...already." I want to smile at what he taught me.

Hahaha... It's obvious when and how... What should I call it? Disgust? Yeah, that one.

How is it, Cypher is full of food in his mouth while I am continuously taking mouthfuls of food. Fuck that poise!

Based on what my good son told me, Boss really hates people who ate like it will be their last. Especially the one who eats with his mouth full and then ends up mouthing words.

And that is what we are doing right now. Just to annoy the demon from him.

"Daddy, Can you order more fries please? With lots of ketchup too. Im craving for it. You like that too?" Cypher turned to me again and I immediately nodded.
