Chapter - 2: Impregnated By The Twins.

(Faedra's POV)

I remained there, on my knees while my tears continued to brim out of my eyes when my phone rang.

I gulped, taking the call with my trembling hands, and my lips quivered when I saw who it was, and I swiped to answer the call.

“F-father…” I stuttered, shivering when his cold, and stern voice entered my ears.

“WHERE WERE YOU THIS WHOLE TIME? I'VE BEEN CALLING YOU SINCE LAST NIGHT, AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN PICK IT UP. WERE YOU BUSY WHORING YOURSELF AROUND?”

His words splashed me with the cold water of reality, and I looked up, bringing my phone before my eyes when I noticed the notification. Twenty-three missed calls. I gulped, flinching when I rubbed my eyes off. “I-I’ll be back in some time… I was drunk yesterday, so I slept in the hotel, and my phone was in silent mode… I-”

Before I could complete my sentence, he cut the phone off, and I looked blankly at the phone before throwing it to the bedside, and struggled to get up when I mumbled, closing my eyes, “I, Faedra Windsor accept your rejection as my mates.”

There was no choice for me other than to reject them. They would never care about me and would go to great lengths to kill me, just for rejection. When did I ever have a choice?

I bit my lips and dragged myself to the shower. I left the door open, and just stood on the cold water, wiping my body harshly just so their scents would wash away from me.

My eyes went over the mark they left on my neck yesterday when the memories of the previous night again came to me.

However, pushing my thoughts away, I dressed myself up and put on a scarf that I always carried around everywhere to hide my scars when I get bullied.

It was pathetic, but there was nothing I could do. I was always the unfavoured one everywhere. My father always preferred my brother more, the heir to his Alpha seat, my brother ignored my entire existence, my pack members sometimes even forgot that I was the Alpha's daughter, and my teachers didn't find me any remarkable since, the day I went against the principal who was trying to harass me, my friends thought of me as a nuisance, and the Rogue Alpha brothers, they only saw me as a doll they could always vent on, and to break me.

I snickered, and exited the room, carrying the pain of rejection. My heart felt heavy, and I had no idea what to do. Even my wolf didn't want to show up.

“Faedra,” I heard a voice from behind, and I turned back to see it was Leah, the Campus Goddess, and also the rumored girlfriend of the twins.

I bit my lips and observed her. What could possibly make her come to me? Was she going to bully me again?

However, when my eyes fell on the shiny diamond ring on her ring finger, my jaws dropped, and I unconsciously asked, while my heart pounded faster, “Who is that ring from?”

She looked at me and laughed. “Who else could it be?”

A jolt of shock coursed through my body when I turned to the other side when I mumbled, “I-I have somewhere else to go.”

“Huh?” She muttered frustratedly when I swallowed, and escaped from the hotel, without turning back for another matter.

So, they've always had their destined mate in their mind. They never thought to accept me from the beginning. So, I was just a joke, a mistake to them…

My tears continued to fall when I bumped into a car.

“LOOK AT THE ROAD, BITCH!”

I looked at the driver, taking a few steps back, and nodded while I rubbed my eyes with my hands.

Yes, a bitch. For them, for everyone, I was always just a bitch.

I gulped when the car passed away, and I walked back to my house before I finally stopped looking at myself on the glass windows.

My hair was messed up, and the eyeliner dropped down to my cheeks. I pursued my lips and rubbed my face harshly with my handkerchief until it was almost wiped before I finally entered inside.

My father looked at me with cold eyes as I walked inside, and he scoffed, “Were you busy fucking someone all night?”

I flinched, and shook my head, lowering my gaze. “N-no…” I bit my lips before I continued, “I was just exhausted…”

“And, you decided to stay out?” He laughed, his lips curling up to a sinister smirk when he pointed at one of his warriors. And, I knew what waited for me.

I looked at him in horror while my body continued to shiver. “N-no, please, father… I was wrong…” I pleaded when the warrior came near me, with a whip in his hands.

My father looked away when the warrior lashed me on my back, and I jerked backward, feeling the pain.

“Ple… hng… p-please…” I continued to beg my father while they continued to whip me.

My senses dulled, and my head was heavy. I wanted to escape this feeling. But this pain was just an itch, if compared to what I felt when I was rejected. That pain suffocated me, made me unable to breathe, and made me feel like I lost everything.

“AHH!” I screamed when my swollen eyes shot up as the warrior continued to whip me. “Hmm…” I gasped, and the world before me turned upside down when I spotted my brother, Maximus watching from a distance, cold-heartedly.

He was always like this. He had always ignored my existence as if I was just thin air. He never participated in torturing, or bullying me, but he never lent a helping hand either. For him, I was nonexistent.

“Please…” I begged again while gasping for breath, looking at my father when he looked away, blatantly ignoring me.

Tears streamed down my eyes, and my vision swirled around before I found myself on my knees, yet, the lashing continued.

Just, what did I do so wrong that everyone hates me? I thought to myself before my vision turned all black, and I lost consciousness.

Some days had passed since that incident. Yet, I was still recovering, and the pain of rejection was still overbearing, and it often made it hard to breathe for me when those memories flooded inside my head. If I could, I wanted to forget all those, forget the embrace of my mates, and that night. I would rather not remember it at all if I was given the chance.

“Hey.”

I flinched, hearing someone's voice when I decided to hide myself in the corner, instinctively.

“Have you seen the big diamond ring on Leah’s fingers?”

My lips gaped, and I peeked at them when my heart thumped like a racehorse. Each of their words continued to strike me like lightning.

“Yeah, that ring was so nice, and it looked expensive!”

“Of course, who do you think gave her that ring?”

That girl gaped her mouth in awe, with a curled-up smile when she questioned, “You wouldn't be thinking it is one of the two Rogue Alphas, right?”

She laughed, raising her eyebrows, and questioned her back, crossing her hands against each other, “Why can't they both propose to her? Don't forget that they are twins, and twins mostly have the same mates!”

“Fuck! I'm jealous. It's Castor, and Shade both.”

They laughed and continued to compliment Leah when my face turned pale.

W-what did I just hear? Was it true after all? Yeah, why did I keep lying to myself? It was all clear from the first moment. It was them…

Tears brimmed out of my eyes when everything turned hazy before me, and I got out of the room, suffocating while I gasped for air. The two girls looked at me in horror, taking a few steps back when I shook my head before falling down, and losing my consciousness.

The last thing I saw was them, trying to help me out with their blurry voices.

I blinked my eyes open when I felt my headache again. “Ugh…” I groaned, rising when I observed, only to find myself in an unknown place.

“Miss. Faedra.” I flinched, hearing a familiar voice, and turned to the opposite side to find the Pack doctor sitting beside me with a serious face.

I flinched, crawling toward the headboard when I finally realized that I was at his office.

The pack doctor was one of the people whom I remember very well. After all, he was the person who would treat me every time my father tortured me. He didn't want a broken product.

I bit my lips anxiously when he frowned, rising from his seat. “You're pregnant.”

My lips parted, and my eyes enlarged when I heard him, and I unconsciously asked for confirmation again, “I-I am…”

“Pregnant.” He completed the sentence, looking stern when I flinched.

P-pregnant? My eyes dropped down to my stomach and I flinched.

Was it some sort of prank? Are you joking with me, Moon Goddess? Just, why? Isn't my life messy enough? But now, I am pregnant with my former mates’ child! And, I can't even tell my father about it. Just why did all of this happen to me? Why is it always me? No, no. I can never let anyone find out about this…
