Chapter 4: Mate Or Monster?

I pretended like I didn't hear his command. After all, dying was the only way I could save myself from any more pain.

"Come here Catriona now!" This was the first time I heard my mate call me by my name. He was already filled with rage, he called me with extreme anger. What could I even do to help myself? I had probably worsened my condition by trying to disobey him.
