CHAPTER 5 - TEMPTATION

Zayn's POV

After how long God knows, I stirred as the sun kissed my fur and became aware of my surroundings. It took me some time to finally recall where I was and the reason I came there. Still in my wolf form,I stretched lazily on the grass scratching my fur a little, stood upright and started heading back to the pack house. I was walking slowly or rather strolling cause I had nothing important to do at the moment. At the entrance of the forest,I changed back to my human form and helped myself from the heap of clothes there. I made sure that it was always there because it always comes handy for me or anyone who shifted without a plan for clothes. I dressed casually in blue jean trousers and a white polo because it was almost evening.

I entered into the pack house and observed that it was quiet as omegas were getting dinner ready and John and Cassy were not within eye distance.

“Seems they are having their couple time”,I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

I know I wasn't supposed to be jealous of them but somehow I was.

“Ahhhhh”,I sighed quietly and headed to my room on the last floor.

I removed my clothes and dashed into the shower as soon as I entered my room. I had a long cold shower that helped in smoothening my nerves and went to my closet to get dressed. An omega had mind linked earlier to inform me that dinner was ready and served.

I went to the dining area on the ground floor and found John and Cassy there already waiting for me. I sat at the head of the table which was my usual spot and everyone started eating.

“Did anything happen when I was away?”, I asked John and Cassy through the mind link midway through the meal as talking while eating wasn't allowed.

“Nothing serious. Just some documents and emails waiting for you in the study”, John replied.

“Hmmmm”,I hummed in approval.

“I will see them after dinner”,I said.

“Don't you need to rest, Alpha Zayn? You had a long day today and need some rest. You can go through them in the morning”, Cassy voiced through the mind link.

I have always loved Cassy because of her caring nature. Filial love cause I don't know what you are thinking about.

I smiled slightly at her and replied; “I'm fine Cassy;moreover I don't have anything doing or anyone to care for. So, it's best I keep myself busy with work”.

She nodded in agreement and we continued eating in silence.

After dinner; I, John and Cassy headed to the second floor while discussing.I made my way to the study while they headed to their room after we exchanged goodnight pleasantries.

I turned the door knob of my study and sniffed an unfamiliar faint scent.

“Who dares enter my study without permission?”, I grumbled as anger was rising inside me.

I entered the room, closed the door behind me and headed to my desk. The room was slightly dark and my eyes trailed to the sight of an unfamiliar female figure whose face was invisible.

“Alpha Zayn”, she called in a seductive voice strolling towards me.

I reached out to my switch and turned on the light giving me an opportunity to see her clearly.

She was a tall, beautiful and attractive lady wearing a red lingerie that was very transparent. It stopped below her butt and half of her boobs were out because the neck was really low. She was really very sexy and any man would fall for this temptation.

I stared at her with hunger in my eyes for some time imagining myself exploring her depth and her hands were all over me trying to turn me on.

“How did she get into my study? Was John and Cassy aware of this?”

I don't think so because John would have informed me during dinner.

“Orrrrr, wait. Was Mum behind this? Cause how did she gain entry to my study”.

I had so many unanswered questions running through my mind.

“Uhhhhh”, I groaned in frustration which she misunderstood as pleasure and started making her way to my south.

I held her hands firmly away from my torso, making her lift her head up to look at me.

“How did you get here?” I asked bluntly.

“It doesn't matter Alpha Zayn cause I know you want me”, she replied with a seductive voice unaware of my rising anger.

“I asked how did you get here?”, I roared suppressing her with my Alpha aura.

“It was Luna Sophia, Alpha. She instructed me to seduce you and she led me here”, she replied with difficulty as sweat was drenching down her body.

“Leave now!”, I ordered while suppressing my aura.

She trembled with fear and made for the door hurriedly closing the door behind her.

I was furious, disappointed, frustrated, and name them.

“Why do mum always send random she wolves to seduce me? What does she think of me? A man whore”,I spit disgustingly as those words came out from my lips.

I was so angry and exhausted that my face was red, making me ball my hands into a fist and hit my desk, almost breaking it.

I really needed to cool off. If not,I would destroy something.

I dashed into my bedroom in search of clothes.

“I think I should go to the club or something, just somewhere away from this pack house”, I thought.

I picked a white t-shirt and grey trousers tailored with a black loafers . I undid the first two buttons of my shirt revealing my defined torso as usual and combed my hair backwards. After getting fully prepared,I went downstairs quietly masking my aura to avoid anyone noticing me and went to the sitting room to pick up my SUV car key. I headed to the packing lot, turned on the car and drove off, disappearing on the runway with no destination in my mind.
