Chapter 1

Blue woke up to a quiet house without having to deal with loud noises or having to put up with siblings that would bully or play pranks or for blaming you, then will turn around and declare their love for you.

Nope, he only has his parents that he loves and vice versa and an older brother that has a ten-year gap, who is currently working and living in the big city, his parents are middle class working people who work from nine to five for big corporate companies.

After getting ready, Blue made his way downstairs to the kitchen, not bothering with breakfast. Blue grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl instead and headed to school; Blue didn't live far from the school. Within minutes he was already at the school gates when he entered the school grounds Blue could see other students coming in from every direction their parents dropped some off while others came by various transportation.

Blue didn't have many friends, but it's how he likes it, with friends comes trouble and drama, which is never the right combination. He only has one best friend who attends another school, like him, Molly is the youngest and has a brother who is also ten years older. They used to participate in the same school, but her parents got divorced, and her mum took her and her brother away to live with her in the city. Molly’s brother is an architect designer and now runs a business that is growing each day.

Molly and Blue keep in contact throughout the years, meeting up on most weekends, sometimes Blue will just stay over at Molly's house where she currently resides with her brother Vincent.

The mornings had come and gone, and now it's lunchtime, while Blue was making his way to his locker his phone vibrated, Taking his phone out of his pocket Blue saw a message from his mum telling him that she and his father would both be running late from work and if he could make dinner.

With a sigh, Blue put his phone back into his pocket before shovelling all his books into the locker, closing it. Throughout recent years Blue had become the person that would make dinner for his parents. At first, he only made simple dishes that were not pleasing to the eyes but were edible. And over time he became good at it, and his parents felt no guilt when they asked him to make dinner.

His parents are those people that dedicate themselves to their work, they get caught up with work all the time, and would bring their work home with them or would take long days away from home because of their work. Blue doesn't mind it as much as he likes the solitude he gets. Blue makes his way to the cafeteria after buying his lunch; he then makes his way to his favourite spot under a big tree that provides a lot of shade which is cool for summertime. Still, it also gives him a view of the football field where most of the students hang out when there is no practice going on.

Most of the students ignore him just how he likes it, the one that talks to him is nice and would try to include him with their circle of friends, sometimes he would sit with them other times he likes to be alone. It doesn't matter what group of people he hangs out with; he is always getting asked the same question.

“Why are you so short and cute”?.

He doesn't know either why a healthy normal seventeen-year-old boy has big doe eyes and lashes that are longer than most girls here and let's not forget the dimples that complete him.
