Chapter 004

Nathan

I narrowed my eyes still recovering from the revelation, then his voice came out.

“ Like what you're seeing?”

The audacity, he didn't even feel ashamed, it had just been a few hours ago when I saw him grabbing a chics ass in the hallway and now he's in the lockeroom being given head by a man, I almost laughed at how messed up this boy was.

“You were not in the field,” I said, avoiding his weird question.

“Ah that,” he rolled his eyes then signalled his partner to stand up, he gave him a kiss then slapped his ass, “ see you later handsome,” he told him as the boy got out of the shower and got dressed.

He gave me a smile which made me burn before he left the two of us in the room.

“ What the fuck man,” I blurted out finally.

“ What do you mean?” He said lazily still naked.

“Look, it's bad enough that you're a spoiled brat but this…”

“What…. Do you have something to say? Huh? This is my goddamn life and I'll do whatever I want, or just because we live under the same roof you think you can control me,”

“Well what you do with your life is none of my business but at least have some decency,” I said.

He clapped his hands dramatically, “ ambassador of good morals,” he smirked.

Was he being sarcastic, I was just trying to talk some sense into him, if word gets out of what he was doing he could get expelled and this wouldn't look good for the pack and it would bring shame to my dad's name.

For a split moment I scanned him, My gaze snagged on his bare torso, he had broad shoulders, a chest honed by training, and abs drawn tight under his smooth skin. He was tall and that went also for his package.

I gulped, he seemed to have noticed my gaze and couldn't help but smirk, “what don't tell me you want a taste,”

I raised an eyebrow, “ I am not gay man,” those words came out unexpectedly as if he cared.

He was about to say something when Luca and our teammates appeared.

“ Where did you go, man,” he said as he swept his gaze of resentment on Leo.

“I came to get something,” I said.

“Took you long enough,” Lucas tone was full of displeasure, he darted his gaze on now the rapped up Leo then me.

“ Cut it out,” I said bluntly.

He shrugged his shoulders then headed to the shower.

After school we headed to the school gate where two of dad's enforcers had been waiting for us.

“ Where is Leo?” He inquired.

“How am I supposed to know, he's probably making out with someone,” I said flatly.

“ Well let me go check, you wait for me here,” he said, already walking towards the school.

Luca and I waited for far too long but he didn't show up. I couldn't be more patient and told the driver to take us home, which he obeyed.

When I arrived at the house, I felt more heartbeats than normal, different scents lingered in the air, it smelled like fresh flowers and hot fabric from the steamers, thick and dizzying and when I twisted the door knob, the house was packed with people, wedding planners I guessed.

Lexi was seated on the couch reading a magazine, a woman wearing a dark suit which hugged her frame, and dark hair which was twisted into a sleek knot was standing next to Lexi, offering her inspiration or something.

I couldn't careless, as much as this was dad's wedding, it had nothing to do with me, I was on the staircase leading to my room when Lexi's voice followed.

“ Nathan, how was school?”

“ It was okay,” I answered flatly my back turned to her.

“And where is Leo,”

Leo, I wasn't his keeper or something, I rolled my eyes before answering, “I don't know, we waited for him but he didn't show up,”

“Alright.”

I ran upstairs to my room and closed the door behind me.

I jumped onto my bed and stared at the ceiling, memories of what transpired in the locker room that day came flooding.

My step brother was not only a nut head, but also a queer.

I couldn't be more surprised.

Later that evening, Beth, one of our servants, who had also been my nanny growing up, called me down for dinner.

We were seated at the table when I darted my eyes around and realized Leo wasn't present.

“Nate, where's Leo?” Dad asked, as he settled a napkin in front of him.

Why was everyone asking me of his whereabouts?

“I don't know,” I replied.

I couldn't come up with any excuse because Leo and I were not that close, but everyone seemed to think otherwise.

“He will be back,” Lexi assured dad as she stretched her hand and gave him a gentle squeeze.

Just as we were about to dig in he showed up.

I frowned as I looked at him, he looked like he’d crawled straight out of a fight, blood streaked his skin, his clothes were torn and hanging loose, bruises darkening his face while he stood there breathing hard like a wounded animal.

Lexi's motherly instincts kicked in as she rushed to his son's side.

"what happened to you," she asked in a hushed tone.

"Nothing serious," he said in an unconcerned tone.

"You can't be serious, and why hasn't it healed yet?" she said as her hands caressed her son's bruises.

" I'll be fine mom," he said trying to avoid his mother's touch.

I just sat there, wondering what the hell happened to him, he was fine back at school, did he get jumped or something.

Just as dad was about to intervine, the enforcer who had left earlier in search for Leo came in with news.

His eyes stared straight at my father, he nodded his head then straightened himself and stood from the seat, "we'll discuss this when I come back," he said calmly before walking out of the dining room with the man following him closely.
