Chapter 5: "Die and never come back"

It took me a minute to realize a figure was blocking the sun from touching me, I looked up to find Connor staring down at me,

"What do you want?" I blurted out before I could stop myself, my breasts still tingling from touching his chest earlier; I didn't really understand my body's reaction to his; I've always been aware of him, but not in this way.

"You want me to punish you so bad right?" He asked with a dark tone; I could feel my face getting flushed, so I lowered my gaze.

"You can only punish me; it's not like you can kill me." I shrugged and pushed off the ground with my toe, planning to resume swinging, but he yanked me off the swing and dragged me against his body, my feet barely touching the ground.

My breath hitched as I looked him in the eyes, our nose almost touching.

"What are you doing?" I tried to speak, but my voice came out thick with emotion; my whole body was held to his; I was 5'6 to his 6'2, so my body lined with his very hard one.

"Are you seriously trying to seduce me?" His gaze darkened but not in the scary way I've come to know, there was something unreadable in his gaze.

I was about to bang on his chest and demand that he release me but I caught a figure crushed behind a rose bush, he or she must be one of the garden workers but hid away to avoid confrontation with Connor or me.

I wonder how long the person has been there but it was just as well, what's an opportunity if I cannot use it to my advantage?

"What if I was?" I replied, my voice almost a whisper. I wrapped my arms around his neck, but doing that brought my breasts even closer; I gasped.

Connor must have felt the shiver that went through me because his arm tightened around me, and groaning hard, he lowered his head and took my lips.

I blinked several times before my brain registered what was going on, Connor kissing me?! I tried to say something, but in doing that I opened my mouth to him, the kiss was hard and long, it wasn't my FIRST kiss, but it was my first KISS.

I moaned into his mouth and the kiss deepened, and I lost myself to him, before long my hands were in his hair, gripping him tightly, I writhed in his arms, I could feel his poke in my center and I went wild with pleasure, I would have probably done something weirder than what I was already doing if he hadn't snapped back.

He dropped me roughly on my feet that I would have crumbled to the floor if I wasn't holding him prior.

He grabbed my jaw and yanked my head back.

"If your plan is to seduce me so I can go easy on you, then you're sorely mistaken, when I get back from the war I'm going to punish you so hard, the thought of seducing me will never go through your pretty head again, you want to seduce me? I'll give you more than you can ask for, you won't be able to walk straight for a week"

Author 's POV

Ava's eyes widened like they were going to pop out of their sockets, it was the most Connor ever said to her, she felt him, not just his words but his very hot body too, she has felt his hard on poke her from beneath the clothes. She blinked many times trying to get her hot face under control.

"Why? You're worried I'd die in the war?" Connor let out a tiny smirk after seeing the fear in her eyes, he couldn't decide if the fear was there because of his threat or the mention of war.

"No" Ava said sternly, setting her eyes on him with all the hatred she could muster. She stepped away from him so fast like his touch burned her.

"I wish you would die and never come back" She turned and forced herself to walk away calmly.

Connor watched her walk away from him, her perfectly shaped legs taking one step after the other. He wanted to yank her back and take her right there in the middle of the garden, and have her pinned beneath him until she screamed and begged for his mercy.

His blood ran cold,

he couldn't believe he just had that thought about Ava, she was his prisoner but he was the one having problems breathing.

He vowed to never touch her again and set things back in their place but...

"Fuck" He said in a dark tone, he wanted her.

Even though Connor tried to convince himself that Ava didn't mean anything to him, he still couldn't think about anything but how he could see the top of her breasts where his shirt lay open on her chest, how her mouth tasted like, how soft her breasts felt pressed against his chest.

"Damn, give me something better than that!" He turned his frustration and anger at Nicolas.

Nicolas did a double take, he noticed Connor has been in a bad mood since noon, he couldn't even focus on the meeting which was unlike him but he wasn't about to press his buttons. He cleared his throat.

"The werewolves are south of here" he pointed to a location on the map.

"But we can't get soldiers there in time before they reach and slaughter Vampires in the Dodge" Nicolas said calmly.

"Send a message to the coven leader, if we can't get there in time to save them, they should save themselves" Connor said, a hint of annoyance in his voice.

Nicolas tapped the glass barrier and the driver pulled over.

"Connor?" He relaxed in his seat and faced his cousin.

"Why are we stopping?"

"You want to tell me what's up? Your head isn't in the game" Nicolas Donnacha, the second most dangerous vampire was the only one on the continent that could address the vampire king informally.

"A little annoying fly craving destruction but it's nothing" He said with a blank expression, he didn't like being interrogated or anyone guessing his thoughts but there was nothing he could do to shut his cousin up.

"Yeah, then you know the vampires up south can't defend themselves because they're night vamps and it's day time, they'll burn if they step in the light" Nicolas said with his brows raised. He could only guess that it had something to do with the queen, Ava had shocked everyone in the dinning hall and it was a miracle she didn't get her fingers chopped off.

"Fuck, phone the helicop-" BOOM

He didn't finish his statement before the car went up in flames.
