Chapter 3: So Quickly
After a few minutes on the road, they arrived in front of Aunt Melanie's house.
Béa: Thank you very much for the trip. Without you I would not have arrived so soon.
Christmas: And you forgot to add safe and sound
Bea: Yes you are right. By the way, my name is Béa, Béa Mina
Noël: Bea, delighted to meet you. I want to be familiar from now on, okay?
Béa: Ok but I think we've been doing it for a while
At this moment, Aunt Mélanie who was very worried about her niece came to see if it was her. When she saw him with a man who, moreover, was very handsome and looked like someone rich, she got a little worried. Who knows? Maybe he wanted to accuse her of something she didn't do. But to see them discuss it doesn't seem like they disagreed. Oh no and if this man there wanted to court his niece? They did not come from the same background and it is known that the rich do not have much consideration for the poor. "I'm going to have to talk to my niece" she said to herself
Noël, who was talking to Béa, noticed Aunt Mélanie's gaze so he smiled at her and addressed her:
Noël: The lady back there keeps staring at us, do you know her?
Béa: Oh it's my aunt. Come let me introduce her to you otherwise she won't stop confusing me after you leave
With that the two walked over to Aunt Melanie. Once the introductions have been made, Christmas leaves again and the two women return.
Two months had passed since the meeting between Béa and Noël and their relationship had gone from a simple friendship to a romantic relationship. Although Aunt Melanie was hesitant at first, she eventually got used to it.
That morning, the Minas received a visit from the Mels to discuss the marriage between their two children.
even though Aunt Melanie thought everything was quick, she finally agreed after Grandma Mel reassured her to take personal care of Bea.
Grandmother: I know you're worried about your niece but I can assure you that we all love her at home. You did a good job with his education and I thank you for that. If I was okay with Christmas's hasty wedding decision it's because I know her story and she's a very good girl so let us help you take care of her. I know you think that since we're rich we won't have any respect or consideration for her, but it's quite the opposite. Enough talking now get ready the wedding is in two weeks.
Aunt Melanie: So quickly?
Grandmother: Yes and don't worry we take everything into account. Just set the amount of the dowry. Now if there is nothing to say we see each other for the preparations. (this turning towards Béa) Goodbye my beautiful be blessed, we will see you later for the preparations.
