VIVIEN'S POV

A mixture of nervousness, fear, and annoyance filled my heart today. I don't know what to do at this time while facing the father and mother of Lucas and Jake.

I want to sink to the ground because of the tension surrounding us now. I tried to compose myself to reduce my fear in case they say negative thoughts to me.

"Ahem!" A taste from the old man caught our attention.

"I need to clear some things. I mean, I will clarify what is happening now between you hija." He pointed at me then turned to where Lucas was. "And you Lucas!"

I just swallowed because of the fear and confusion of what was happening around me.

"I just found out yesterday, what you did to that innocent girl Lucas was from Jake!"

I felt very heavy because of hearing from Don Crisanto, Lucas' father.

When I heard Jake's name I looked around in case I might see him but I was disappointed.

He's not here.

Jake is the only one who can make me feel better.

"And I didn't like that!"

I turned to the person next to me. He gave me a look that seemed to be the size of my sin towards him. Because now we are next to each other facing his parents.

I have no idea what we are doing here and what offer Don Crisanto is talking about.

Lucas just smirked.

"I thought she was your girlfriend! You're even planning to introduce her to us Lucas, aren't you?" Donya Bella said.

Then I was surprised so I looked at Lucas. His face was serious and he smiled lightly.

He planned to introduce me to his parents? A part of my heart was happy but it still had a tinge of curiosity.

If so, why didn't he continue?

What is his reason?

Did I do something to make him hate me like this? But I don't remember anything. Even once I never hurt him because I love him so much.

I need to know. I want to know his reasons.

"Nah! Im just fooling around!" Lucas answered sarcastically.

I look at his eyes.

He acts bitterly.

He is no longer the lucas I knew. The very sweet and caring one.

The one I love so much. But after the night we shared, he suddenly changed. He rejects me. Until now I'm still confused!

I sighed at the thought.

"Take care of yourself Lucas! Look at her! You got her pregnant and then you're not responsible. What kind of man are you? You should accept the fact that you're going to be a father!" Don Crisanto insisted. Its voice is rising.

I sighed before speaking.

"O-it's okay. W-if he doesn't take responsibility for me. I can bring my son back to life by myself." I uttered.

He turned to me.

"He can do it. So, I guess this meeting will end!" He stood up and was about to leave but Don Crisanto suddenly shouted at him.

"Lucas! Don't wait for me to disinherit you and banish you from this household! It will be a great shame for our company if they hear that you ran away from your responsibility to that girl!"

I closed my eyes.

What trouble did I get myself into?

"Seriously dad?!"

"Don't argue with me, Son. I am fixing your mess! You will marry Vivien, next month!"

My heart beat faster. Is this really happening? I was quite happy with what I heard. He is so kind, that even if his son makes a mistake, he wants to correct it.

"B-but dad-"

"No buts. You'll marry her. Wether you like it or not!" After that he left, going up to the second floor of the mansion. Lucas, Donya Bella and I were left here in the living room.

It was very awkward.

Maybe I'll go home first. I only get more stressed when I see him denying me. I stood up and faced Donya.

"I'm sorry for the trouble Donya Bella. I'm leaving." I just said and was about to walk when he stopped me.

"You're not leaving hija. Starting today, you're going to live here. We've taken all of your things from your apartment. Your rent will be paid because we've already paid it." Donya is gentle with me.

My lips parted. I can't believe what I heard from here. Is this what Don Crisanto is claiming to be offering?

"P-but-" I hissed.

"Hija, you are bringing our granddaughter. So we must secure your condition!"

"I guess he's very lucky!" Lucas insisted that now he turned his back on us and left the mansion.

He didn't even say goodbye to his mother.

"Let him go Hija, maybe he was just surprised by the events." I just nodded.

I hope that is the reason. But I feel something strange.

I just shrugged my shoulders and Donya smiled. "Thank you for welcoming me and my future baby. Thank you very much!" He just shook his head and hugged me.

"No, thank you for giving us a grandchild. Crisanto and I have been waiting for this for a long time, one of the brothers will give it to us right away but the two are very stubborn. And now look. Our youngest was actually the first to give it to us." Donya laughs insistently. There is a trace of happiness on his face. I sighed in relief.

They are good and accept me and my baby.

Even though Lucas treated me like that, I was happy because of the kindness that his father and mother showed me.

It actually paid my short rent and let me live here in their mansion.

They care for my baby.

They never let me down. As Luke did. That cold man. Lucas Reign De Villa. That heartless C.E.O.

I looked around the room I was in now. A maid told me that this is Lucas' room. I first asked him why he brought me here but he said, this will be my room.

What if Lucas gets angry?

Whatever!

I arranged my things then took a shower. I also soaked in the tub for an hour before I decided to go out and get dressed.

I wrapped the white towel around my body and left the bathroom.

Gosh! It was like I was frozen in place when I saw Lucas on the bed. It was sitting there and staring at me.

His eyes were widened as if he saw a beautiful sight that immediately made me panic.

The way he looks. It's full of lust.

My face suddenly got hot at the same time as my cheeks blushed from embarrassment. I avoided looking at him then went straight to the closet and got dressed.

I thought that he was no longer in his place but I was wrong. He was still there but he was typing something on his laptop. Maybe it's his job.

I went to the mirror and let my hair down. I wanted to talk to him but I chose to remain silent. It might even make him angry.

Spell AWKWARD?

A deafening silence fell between us.

"How long until you finish that?" His demeanor was cold while he was still busy typing on his laptop.

I couldn't react to his question.

"A-am why?" I asked.

"We've been waiting downstairs for a while. Let's eat!"

I was immediately stunned. Shame!

What would Don Crisanto and Donya Bella say and I waited for them?

"Follow the chin after you're there!"

I couldn't say anything so I just nodded. It turned around and faced me again.

"And don't forget to wear your br*! I can see your n*pples, have some shame!" And it's out.

I was shocked! I forgot to br*! I was more depressed because of what I was thinking. What the h*ck am I doing?

What am I doing?!

I went to the closet again and got dressed. It's a good thing he told me that I don't have a br*, but I didn't know enough to face his parents while not wearing a br*.

I immediately combed my hair and ran out of the room. After I went down the stairs, I went straight to the kitchen of the mansion.

There I found them not even eating and waiting for me.

You're embarrassing Vivien! You waited for them!

" Oh Vivien Hija. Sit down. The dinner is ready!" Donya said. I immediately pulled the chair and sat down. I kept glancing at Lucas. I didn't even look back.
