Chapter 2

Celia didn't fasten her seat belt, so the crash hurt her forehead, and the blood flowed down her face, looking very appalling.

“Celia, you are back?" Emma was stunned. She didn't expect to meet her tonight.

Emma thought it was just the right time that Celia was back. So that Glenn can let her go.

“It’s so great that you...”

Celia interrupted Emma. She looked hurt and her voice was even very aggrieved, “Emma, Why do you hurt me again and again?”

“What?” Emma didn’t understand.

Celia began to cry. She berated Emma, “In order to marry Glenn, you forced me away. I chose to leave here to make you happy. Now I just want to come back to visit our parents, but you even want to kill me! Emma, how can you be so relentless!”

“What are you talking about?” Emma frowned, “It was you who left at the beginning! And just now, if you didn’t suddenly burst out of the fork in the road, I wouldn't have hit you at all!

And if Celia had fastened her seat belt, her forehead wouldn’t hurt at all!

Celia suddenly smiled strangely. She reached out her finger, hung up the phone that was communicating with Glenn, and then looked up at Emma.

“Yes. I left at the beginning, and the accident was deliberately caused by me. But...” She smiled more and more triumphantly and maliciously, “when Glenn comes after a while, who do you think he will believe?”

It turned out that she had set a trap for Emma again!

Emma darkened her face and looked at Celia calmly, “What's the point of doing this? I'm going to divorce Glenn. If you want to be with him, just stay with him. I'll quit!”

Emma pushed Celia away and rushed to her own car.

There was suddenly a sharp car noise behind her when she just touched the door.

A black Bentley came to a screeching halt behind her. The door opened and Glenn stepped out. His face and eyes were full of ruthless coldness.

“Emma, how dare you!” He spoke in a hurtful way.

It hurt Emma deeply. Obviously he only trusted Celia. Even if it was very clear to see at a glance that who was the real person responsible for the accident.

Emma didn't want to argue with him. She opened the car door silently and just wanted to leave as soon as possible.

When the door was half opened, it was slapped back by a big hand from behind.

Glenn walked closed to Emma. His chest almost touched Emma's back, and she could even felt the hot breath as he spoke.

“You’re not allowed to leave. You have to pay for hurting Celia.” He said.

Emma closed her eyes, forced herself to calm down all her painful emotions, and then turned to look at him as calmly as she could. "So what do you want from me? Drive the car to hurt me back?”

Glenn gave Emma a black look. She had no doubt that the man would definitely say yes! He would not frown even if she got killed in front of him.

“Glenn...” Celia suddenly said. She pushed Glenn away just like she was trying to mediate in a quarrel. “I’m OK. Don’t blame Emma. She’s pregnant now...”

Glenn gently took Celia into his arms, but then he stared at Emma coldly.

“Pregnant? Not after tonight!”
