*** Lexine's P.O.V.

I let out a sigh before pushing open the big mansion door.

I don't know but I'm really nervous now. Just a while ago I was shopping for clothes after an assistant told me to wear clothes that I was comfortable with because they said they would take me with them to the father-daughter bonding and also to be their guard as a reaper.

He even reminded me to wear clothes so that I wouldn't be mistaken for a bad person.

Usually when I'm in the mansion, I always wear denim pants. Even when I'm on missions I wear those clothes. But when Cypher and I are together? I can dress and act freely as I want. Besides, it's a shame that my dresses are in the closet of my room in the mansion.

That's why I'm not really comfortable. This will be the first time that I will wear a dress in front of the Mafia boss. Not only that, I made myself even better!

Hey! But I didn't make myself beautiful for him! As he said, I wear comfortable dress. And I am comfortable if I wear a dress and put at least a powder and a lipstick. In fact, I still have blush on and fake eyelashes on when Cypher and I are alone together.

The car immediately appeared to me where I saw the father and son laughing when I opened the door. I couldn't stop smiling because of the closeness of father and daughter.

I used to think that Boss was a cruel father to Cypher. Based on the profile he has as the Mafia Boss. But now it looks like I have proven that his heart has really softened when it comes to his son.

Cypher suddenly looked at me and his smile widened. He was about to open his mouth when I signaled him not to speak.

I'm sure he'll just call me Mommy. Maybe his daddy will hear.

Boss seemed to have noticed that Cypher was no longer laughing at his tickling and Cypher was just looking behind him, so he slowly put it down, and then turned to face me.

Only then did I notice that the father and son were wearing suits. They are both wearing navy blue blouses and jeans. They both have messy long hair. And they really look like each other.

Involuntarily, I turned to my clothes when I remembered the clothes of father and daughter.

I wore a simple fitted dress that did not exceed the knee length. I also wear 3 inches high heels. And the only surprising thing is that the color of my dress is also navy blue because I really meant it to suit my baby and me.

But I didn't think that Boss was also wearing navy blue. Wait, IT WASN'T LIKE THAT BEFORE! IT WAS GREEN AT FIRST!!!

I was about to bow down to say goodbye again when I saw Cypher's laughing look at his father, which is why I also turned to him. Only then did I notice that Boss was just looking at me.

And is it just me or is there really something strange in his eyes while looking at me.

Why can I see sadness, misery, and... Is that...

"Dad! I know she looks dashing with her dress but can we go now?" Cypher gasped suddenly.

I quickly avoided our gaze and immediately bowed.

"I-I'm sorry your highness. I'll change my dress if you li—"

"Nah. Just get in the car. You consumed minutes already and I won't let that become an hour." he groaned as he opened the door to the back seat.

"—ke. O-okay your highness." I just sighed and walked closer to the car.

Before Cypher got into the car, he winked at me before laughing and getting inside the car.

I was just disgusted by that boy's mischief. It seems that's the only thing he didn't inherit from his father.

I shook my head as I got into the car.

We are currently in the car. The father and son were next to each other in the backseat while the driver was next to me in the passenger seat. And I've been restless in my seat for a while because of how uncomfortable I am now.

First, I was wearing a simple navy blue dress that did not exceed my knees in length. I also just put a little powder and lipstick and perfumed it. Which I only do when Cypher and I are together.

Second, I can feel my eye bags because I haven't slept since I woke up this morning. That's why I'm really uncomfortable where I'm sitting.

Add to that that I can now see and hear Boss's smiles and laughter. You can really see his genuine smile, laughter, and joy while playing with his son.

And I am super amazed. This is my first time as bad as a father-daughter bonding date. And this was also the first time I saw such a reaction from the dear king's face. It's a far cry from his always furrowed brow, unresponsive face, and grumpy aura.

I feel that what I see now is not a feared Mafia Boss in the whole world. But my eyes witness a loving father to his son.

"Daddy, are we there yet? I'm hungry." Cypher sneered at his father

"Were almost there baby. But do you want to eat first?" boss asked his son softly.

Haaayyyy... That boy really has a strange power. Just kidding, I who always have a blank face, rarely smile in front of other people, and have a cold voice when talking to others is different when I'm in front of him.

I always laughed at him. He makes me smile even with simple things. And my voice is always soft when I talk to him.

And it looks like he inherited that from his father. Just like Cypher, Boss has the same effect on me.

The one who used to hold back nothing but his simple presence makes my knees tremble. The former stone reaper is slowly softening. And the once fearless reaper has developed a weakness. And that is because of these two guys.

As for the matter. I don't know anything since I don't remember anything. All the facts I know are all based on what they said and told me. And even a single bit of a memory from me I can't get anything.
