A very noisy bird

"You're a dude, hold on, a dude is my roommate? Haaaa you've got to be kidding me".

I couldn't hold it in, so I decided to go downstairs and file a complaint.

"What the hell is wrong with this people, a guy? I mean I don't mind sleeping in the same room as a guy that handsome, but a total stranger? The nerves".

As soon as the elevator opened up, I walk in heavy steps towards the receptionist. Anyone who saw me at that moment would assume I was a crazy woman. My hair was scattered and I had an indoor slippers on.

When I got to the reception, I hit my hand so hard on the table that it felt like my hands would bleed.

"Ahhh these stupid fragile hands".

I said in a very low voice. Shin Suri's hands looked like that of a baby. Even most of her features looked like a little baby. I know she had gone through a lot but she still managed to look cute.

"How may I help you miss"?

When she said this, I was brought back to reality though it didn't stop my hands from hurting.

"Well, the room I was supposed to share with someone..."

The lady nodded and waited for me to continue.

"The roommate is a guy".

I said this while looking at her directly in the eye. To my surprise, she wasn't shocked at all.

"Wait wait wait, you already knew?".

She made it look like it was something so natural. I mean, how can they expect a man and woman to stay in the same room?

"Well, miss I did inform you that you would be sharing a room with someone. Besides there is no need to worry he can't do anything without your consent. Please accept our apologies its because the hotel in itself is already full".

I chuckled in disbelief. I did not understand how a hotel can act like this. There should be a law or type of rule against this. What, are they a matchmaking company or something?

"So... you are telling me that you won't be able to do anything about the situation?"

I ask hoping that maybe, just maybe she would give me something I can work with.

"The only thing we can do now is refund your money and refer you to another hotel".

I smiled angrily as I found her answer pretty stupid. The only thought that came to my head was how to lure her to an isolated place and beat the hell out of her.

"It's a little too late for that don't you think!!"

I asked while pointing outside which was already pitch black and rainy.

"We apologize once again".

She said and bowed lightly. She sounded like she just wanted me out of her hair which pissed me off even more.

"Uhhhh".

I was tired of hearing their not so real apologies so I left and went back to the room.

When I got to the room the light was off but I noticed a small light from the corner of my bed where my bag was laid. With that little light, I was able to access the surroundings and there he was, already asleep.

'Oh well, I guess he won't be a problem besides it's just for one night if he tries anything funny I'll kick him really hard'.

I said in my mind as I kicked the air... or so I thought.

"Ahhh, ahhh my leg aishh this darn body".

When I said the last part, I tried demonstrating it with my leg and in the process, I got cramps.

After a few seconds, I heard someone talk which startled me a little as I thought he was already sleeping.

"Could you please be quiet, I already had a long day and I need to rest. I believe you know you are not the only one in this room".

I just looked at him but somehow I couldn't say anything I tried to get up and walked to my bed.

After turning off the light, I tried to sleep but I kept turning uncontrollably till the light from the other side of the room suddenly turned on.

"Are you trying to piss me off"?

He said sounding frustrated. He sounded calm but I could hear the irritation in his voice. I smirked and replied.

"Who has the time for that"?

I replied in the same annoyed tone.

"It's just because I can't sleep an..."

"Then try to be quiet. I don't care if you sleep or not, it's obviously none of my business. Guess what though, I can sleep and I'd really appreciate it if you could stop making silly noises".

He said cutting me off and being an annoying bastard.

'What the hell is wrong with this guy'?

I said in my mind.

"Haaa, hahaha, and if I don't? What will you do?"

He turned around and looked at me again this time, I could see the anger plastered all over his face, and to be honest, I almost bursted into laughter.

"I hate noise but you want to know what I hate more than noise"?

I looked at him as though I was about to learn something.

"The person or thing making the noise. It's just one night and we would be able to leave. I can't say anything to you so wait till morning. Until then could you please pretend to be a human being?"

My mouth was opened wide I couldn't believe he just said that to me.

"Haa what do you mean by pretend to be a human being huh I'm human you know".

"From this point, you sound more like a bird... a very noisy one".

I have had it with this guy. That's it, silence is the best answer to a fool.

I turned in the opposite direction and tried to sleep again and this time I actually did.
