Accident

For days, I have been with my aunt and her pup. She had been trying quite many ways to arrange a sneak trip to New York City. She had told me the ways to get there was a very dangerous and stressful journey, but I was ready to take it.

"Argh!!" I threw out all the content in my stomach.

Since this morning, I haven't been feeling too well. I feel feverish, and most especially loss of appetite.

"You are pregnant."

I heard a voice behind me. I turned around to see an old woman approach me. "Congratulations, you are pregnant."

"I am not pregnant." I quickly declined. "It's only fever. You have got it all wrong, ma'am."

"No, you are pregnant, my dear." She still remained persistent.

"Um, excuse me. I need to go now." I quickly left.

She is saying rubbish. How can I be pregnant? For who?

Getting home, I met Aunt Mabel, accompanied by a woman who looked just the same age as her. She was smiling brightly at me, holding a jotter.

"You must be Ria. I've heard so much about you from Mabel here. Come." She dropped the jotter.

I exchanged glances with Aunt, and she gave a smile in response.

"I heard from my blonde friend that you are sick. Forgive me if I haven't introduced myself. I am nurse Lilly, and I am here to check on you, but it doesn't seem as if I need more checking...cause..." she chuckled.

"What do you mean?"

"It's obvious that you are pregnant. Congratulations."

Pregnant? I widened my eyes in shock. So, what the old woman told me earlier on was right.

"She is pregnant? And how are you sure about that?"

"Common Mabel. I am sure you also didn't doubt she was pregnant, too. You just want a nurse to tell her the truth, and I did. But I will still check on her health, if that is what bothers you."

I am pregnant? I am really pregnant??

I clenched tightly to my stomach.

"Are you still willing to take the risk? Ria, you are pregnant."

"Aunt, I am still willing to. I still insist I must leave this pack soon." I lift up my head to look at her as she paces all around the room. "And about the child, Dante doesn't care. So why should I stay and let him do whatever he wants."

"But you haven't met him yet. How do you know he would do whatever he wants with you since you have his child?"

"He is going to get married to my sister soon. I refuse to be a third wheel."

Aunt scoffed.

"Third wheel? You are his fucking mate. Your sister is the third wheel, stop labeling yourself as inferior Ria."

"But I am. Look aunt, I need to leave here soon, I have made up my mind to leave the pack, far away from everything. I am tired of suffering without a reason, and you are going to help me, are you?"

Aunt didn't answer me, instead, stared at me with her arms folded.

"Are you?" I asked again.

"You know I am gonna help you Ria."

I beeped out a smile at her. "So, when am I leaving?"

Three trucks zoomed into the borders. Standing assemble were the soldiers who had no smile on their faces, instead stood grumpy waiting for those who were inspecting the trucks moving to the human city.

"What are in the trucks, Mrs Mabel?"

"Few toiletries and some appliances as usual."

He went to the back, uncovered one of the large bask of ladies tampons, before covering it back.

"She can leave." He made a command to the others, and they did exactly what they were told.

Giving a command to the others by the gate, "Stop!"

Mabel's heart skipped a beat as she turned to face the driver who was also sweating profusely.

Mabel choose to handle this herself because she knew the soldiers trusted her, and they would allow her leave freely without being suspected or investigated. Behind the truck was the pregnant girl who was all rubbed with White Elixir to cover her smell. They would never catch her smell as far as she is sitting way below the soft toiletries.

"Have you inspected the trucks well?"

"Yes sir."

That is the chief. He is as strict as the gamma when the fuck, he is not.

"Are you sure?"

Why the so many questions.

"Yes sir. Just a few toiletries."

"And some legit appliances sir." One of the solders added.

"She is putting on a ear pod, why is that?" The chief quickly recognized the small ear pod she was wearing to keep Ria on the update.

The soldiers turned to me, also realizing I was putting on an ear pod. "This is for my business. No one ever told me not to use it whenever I am going to cross the borders."

"Then take it off."

She took it off her ear, then was she allowed to pass with the two accompanies behind her.

She made a sigh of reef the instance she was out successfully. She was sure the chief doubted her, and also sure the next time, he was going to ask for a full offload. But as far as she was out with Ria, there's no much reason to panic. The streets is free for them to pass.

The driver beside her made a heave of relief.

"That was a close one." he was also in hand with Mabel to get Ria out of the pack, which excluded the other men in the other trucks who probably think everything was neat.

Mabel quickly inserted the ear pod back into her ear.

"Ria, come in. Are you there?"

"Yes aunt. I am okay."

"Good. We will fully leave the border in a few seconds, don't worry."

"I trust you aunt."

Another truck suddenly approached theirs' from a distance.

Mabel's fists immediately clenched as she saw the truck moving in a speed towards them.

"Chief." The driver muttered to her. "What should we do?"

"He passed the other side." She was so angry that her vein almost popped out of her skin. "Avoid him."

While trying to avoid the truck coming directly at them, the driver tried to pass the other side of the road, but while at it, and other truck came out from the other side, and rammed against each other....
