Chapter 5

Luka's POV

I keep turning about on my bed. Ever since that girl had come, sleeping has been a problem for me. How could the Moon Goddess give me a mate, like me of all people. No it can't be possible, there must be a misunderstanding of some sort.

"You call finding your own mate a misunderstanding? Luan fires at me.

"Can you just keep shut?

“Just don't do anything stupid or rash, don't even think of rejecting her" he says blocking our link 

I just need a drink to cool off. I leap off my bed and head downstairs. I smell her sweet scent again, making luan whine in my head. Ignoring the scent, I go to the kitchen and grab a bottle of beer from the refrigerator. I fill a glass cup and help myself to it. A gulp is all it takes to empty the glass. I pour another and another and another until the whole bottle is empty. I stagger out of the kitchen, barely walking as I support myself on the wall. That sweet intoxicating scent hits me again, this time coming from my study. I open the study door slowly, making it creak noisily. I listen for a while and I'm able to pick up the faint sound of a heart beat. I put on the light and I the the girl's face;terror stricken. I look around and I see the picture I took with my mom on my seventh birthday on the table. I remember putting it in my drawer. I take in her scent once more, and I look at her.

Her curves at the right places in the thin pink robe she's putting on. Just looking at her, made my groin ache and throb painfully. Without thinking, I go closer to her and run the pad of my thumb down her smooth ,downy soft  cheek. The pain in my groin increases. Inhaling the scent of her warm skin through flared nostrils, I feel the desire that was always close to the surface. Unable to resist the lush softness of her mouth, I bend my head feeling her sigh as she opens her mouth to deepen the penetration of my tongue, winding her fingers into my hair and pulling me closer. Luan moans in anticipation at the feeling of my mates mouth with mine. When I lift my mouth, we stay that way, her nose pressed to the side of mine, her fingers in my hair, our warm breaths mingling. It takes everything in me not to make her mine that moment, but instead I lead her to her room and go to mine.

This is the first time I have actually slept well since she arrived although I wake up with a heavy headache. I clean my teeth and go to my closet to select a suit. I find  white open neck shirt that wasn't very rumpled and dark tailored trousers. Putting the shirt on a hanger, I hang it over the bathroom door and turn on the shower, hoping that the steam would smoothen out the fee creases there were on the shirt.

Fifteen minutes later, i slip the shirt over my head and I'm surprised to find only a little crease left on the shirt. I pull up my trousers to my waist and fasten my belt on it, pulling up my blue tie. I run a comb through my shirt wavy brown hair, styling it in the usual way. I look up to get a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I hardly recognize the earnest young man who looks back at me, and I allow myself a complacent smile. I bend down and hurriedly knot my laces, not wanting to get to the meeting late. I was hosting a meeting of the Alpha's around my territory; Alpha Kade on the East, Asher on the West and Kaleb on the North of my pack. 

A maid brings my breakfast to the dining and I eat quickly.

"Good morning Alpha" Thomas my beta greets.

"Yeah"

"Alpha Kade of the Black Moon Pack is almost here, his beta just rang up" he says as his phone rings. 

"Uhm, hello........Oh yes........I'll let him know right away......... No problem" he says to the phone. "Same with Alpha Asher of the Dark Wing pack"

"Expect me down in five minutes"I say continuing my breakfast of ham, eggs, cheese and bread.

When I get down, the three Alphas; Alpha Kade, Asher and Kaleb are led inside by my beta. They all take their seats.

"Good morning, Alphas" I start " The reason I called this meeting is because of the recent increase in the population of rogue wolves around our packs.....................

Autumn's POV

Recap

"He bends his head, and I sigh opening my mouth to deepen the penetration of his tongue, winding my fingers in his hair and pulling him closer. He breaks the kiss and we stay that way, my nose pressed to his,my fingers playing with His hair, our warm breaths mingling. He takes me to my room and he leaves".

Back to present..................

I wake up to total quietness. I head to the toilet to do my usual morning business. After taking a long shower, I slip on a loose T-shirt and khaki shorts I see folded on the bed. I put the shirt over my head, slightly wincing in  pain. I catch the scent of the shirt. It smells like him. I  wince as I struggle to reach the other half of the room, opening the blinds as I do.

After Breakfast, I fall on my bed and go back to sleep since I have nothing doing.

I wake up, since Amy is antsy and constantly whining" Mate" in my head. She takes control forcefully and runs out of the room.

"Amy stop this" I yell trying to take control, but she blocks me.

That's when his scent hits me

"Amy, he's coming, hide!!" I try saying.

She runs into him, and forcefully pulls him in a hug. He looks at her, glaring before pushing Ava off him and he  disappears down the hallway.

Amy let's me have control and blocks all means of communication with her, AGAIN!!

She has to stop doing that seriously!!!
