Chapter 3 - He Wants Me

Illyla’s POV

I only saw the prince for about 10 seconds before he ran off somewhere, wherever it was he looked determined to get there. I was sent to clean his room, it was surprisingly tidy for a boy's room, if I had servants and maids, I wouldn't even bother keeping clean.

But it's as if he cares for his slaves and keeps our work simple and not hours of work. I picked up his pillows and pulled all them off the bed, then I started making his bed. I took the duvet off the bed and gave it a shake to get rid of all the crumbs, then I placed it over his headboard.

I peeled off his sheet and I crumbled it into a little ball and chucked it in the corner of the room, I walked over to his linen cupboard and grabbed some clean white sheets. I placed the sheet nicely one the bed and pulled it up to the top of the mattress.

I grabbed the duvet off the headboard and placed it on the bed, I straightened it out and pulled it up to where the top of the bed was. I smoothed away the crinkles and I grabbed the pillows I gave them a shake then I placed them nicely on the bed.

I was finally satisfied with my bed making skills, I grabbed this old sheet from the corner and walked down the hall with them. I walked into the laundry room and I chucked them in the washing machine, deciding not to turn it on since there was lots of room left.

I walked back into his room and headed for his bathroom, HOLY SHIT (excuse my language) his bathroom is bigger than my house, his bath is bigger than my bed! He has a huge shower and two sinks and of course a toilet, I wish my toilet were inside.

I walked over to the sinks and wiped my hand along the base of it, one of the sinks was clearly used often with the hair clogged drain and the hair products but the other was spotless and empty. I'm guessing it belongs to the special someone in his life, but I pretty sure he hasn't found her yet otherwise it'll be all over the news!

I cleaned out Mike's drain, I pulled out big chunks of hair and dirt from the drain. Refusing to puke I placed then in his trash which I'll empty later, I used Dettol wipes and wiped clean the sink leaving it clean and shiny.

I dusted off the dust on some of his hair and skin products making them look used daily. With a sigh I headed towards the toilet, I grabbed the brush and gave the bowl a scrub. I placed one of those capsule's that clean the toilet every time you flush.

I wiped the toilet seat and the plush buttons, then I placed a new roll of toilet paper on the rack. Then I cleaned the bathroom tiles, once it was spotless and showed my reflection, I went over to the bathtub. It didn't look like it's been used in a while, so I gave it a wipe down getting rid of the dust.

Once it sparkled which took longer than you'd expect, I hopped into his shower and cleaned the drain and the floor and the shower head. I even cleaned the shower door and glass, I wiped down some of the condensation on the walls from his earlier shower.

I've been cleaning his bathroom for about 2 hours now and I believe I'm finished, I grabbed the rubbish bag out of his bin and put a new bag in, I carried the rubbish bag out of his room and chucked it down the hallway's trash shoot, which basically was a slave's shortcut.

I took a deep breath in relief, realizing my job was done for the day. I've done my daily shift of 3 hours and now I can go home. I closed his bedroom doors and walked down the hall and down the grand stairs.

The receptionist smiled at me and I sent her a wave as I walked out of the main hallway and towards the servant exit. I passed the guard from earlier and he unlocked the door for me to leave "Thank you sir “I said not expecting a reply.

I walked out into the chilly morning air it's around 9am now so I have 7 hours to spare before my 3 hour shift later tonight. That's right I work 6 hours a day, I sleep 9 hours a day and only have a certain amount of time to just chill out and try to enjoy life.

I was walking down the path leading to the market when a pair of arms hugged me from behind. My body went stiff with fear, Who grabbed me? "Did you forget about me already?" Instantly I recognized the sound of Sophie's voice and I smiled.

"How could I forget about you?" I asked turning around to face her and she giggled. "I know right I'm just too irresistible" She explained flicking her hair dramatically ,I chuckled, and she frowned playfully. " Want to hang with me?" She asked and I smiled " Of course!" I shouted linking arms with her and walking past the market stalls.

I'm glad I finally found a friend, who wouldn't judge me on my clothes or where I live or the fact, I clean bathrooms to put food on my families table. We walked down the market streets and looked at items of clothes we wished we owned and food we wish we could taste.

Mike's POV

I was in my games room playing on the Kinect box and I was rowing a raft down the Nile river, it was one of those games when you move yourself to move your character. So, I probably looked like an idiot jumping up and down and leaning side to side and reaching my arm out to grab coins.

I was in here wasting some time waiting for my Mum and Dads meeting to end and dad to bring me the list of names that I would read over again and again. I was right in the middle of jumping over a rock when my dad came in through the door, making me lose focus and crash into a rock.

Not caring about dying in my precious game I ran over to where my dad was standing, I was excited when I noticed me had some paper in his hands, which hopefully was for me. I felt my heart pounded hard against my chest, wanting to break free and kill me from excitement.

"Here's everything I found son, and I already marked out girls with mates" My father said handing me the papers, I took them and pulled him into a quick hug before running out of the room shouting in excitement. I ran into my room and stared in shock, my bed was made, and my room was tidy, I walked into my bathroom and was in more shock.

The whole room was spotless, the sink was clean, so was the shower, bathtub, and toilet. The tiles where washed so I could see my reflection, I had new toilet paper and the room was dusted. No maid has ever cleaned my bathroom like this, usually they just restock my toilet paper supplies and leave!

Dad must have got my cleaning package upgraded or one maid needs a massive raise! Ignoring my spotless bathroom, I walked back into my room and headed for my desk in the corner of my room. I placed the paper on the desk and felt relieved it was only a one page list.

I'd hate to have to spend ages trying to find her, I read the list

Only 5 people! I fist pumped the air and almost jumped around my room and my wolf was howling in joy and happiness. I had to meet each and every one of these girls until I find the one, looking down at my watch I realized their shifts where over I would have to wait for another 3 hours before these girls return to his castle.

I walked over to my bathroom and decided to do my hair, wanting to impress my mate who I'm determined to meet later on today. I couldn't help but pick up her sweat scent once again, but it was a faint smell which probably meant she hasn't shifted yet.

Which means I wouldn't be able to find out who she is until she's 16! I hope her birthdays soon I'm not keen on waiting months to find her. Still taking in my amazingly clean bathroom I decided to go and ask my dad about who cleaned it.

I walked out of my bathroom and sat down at my desk and sat in my chair spinning around. I decided to mind link dad being too lazy to go and find him.

Dad are you available to talk? I asked hoping he wasn't busy.

Yeah, I can talk He replied

Who cleaned my room today? My bathroom's spotless! I asked waiting for his response, he was taking a while probably looking up who was doing the shift in my room.

A girl called Illyla He responded after a while, I felt my heart stop and my nerves snap.

Thanks dad bye I said quickly blocking him out. Oh my gosh Illyla is a girl on the list of my possible mates! I sprinted out of my room and ran into my private library; I scanned the shelves until I found the book called 'Every Wolf' this book had the name of every wolf alive and some basic information on them.

I skinned through the book till I found her name, as I thought she wasn't 16 yet and she's a slave girl, my slave girl. I wrote down her birthday and the birth days of the other girls as well, cause as soon as one of them shift and goes into heat I'll know who she is.

Luckily, all of these girl’s birthday were in the next 6 months! Illyla’s is in 2 days! I hope it's her I don't think I could wait months for my mate to reveal herself to me. But of course, I can't grab Illyla’s hand to see if she's my mate, that'll just scare her away, so I'll just wait and see...
