Chapter 6. Don’t Try to Run Away Again!

Sunlight streamed through the gaps in the window, touching Luna’s smooth cheek. Slowly, the girl blinked her eyes a few times. Just as her eyes were fully open—her gaze swept across her room.

Suddenly, Luna’s expression changed as she saw clothes scattered haphazardly on the floor of the room. Wait! The moment Luna saw her clothes strewn about—fragments of her memory recalled the events of last night.

Luna swallowed hard. Fragments of memory, like shattered pieces of a puzzle, began to assemble in her brain. She clearly remembered the events of last night. The heated events that made her tremble.

Luna mustered the courage to lower her gaze—looking down to where her body was covered in reddish marks. The girl’s throat seemed to constrict, unable to make a sound.

Luna’s memory was still working very well. She remembered how Draco touched her body. For God’s sake! Luna wanted to run as fast as possible, but that was impossible.

“What have you done, Luna?” Luna squeezed her own hair. “Why are you so cheap!” she muttered to herself, overwhelmed by emotion.

Draco’s damn touch wouldn’t leave Luna’s memory. That’s what made Luna angry and emotional with herself. Waking up naked and only covered by a thick blanket.

Luna pulled the blanket up to cover her naked body tightly. The feelings she felt at this moment were so mixed. Last night, she wanted to run away, intending to go as far away from Draco as possible.

However, the plan remained just a plan. The man managed to catch Luna trying to escape. Truly, the girl’s life was like being in a circle of fire. No matter how far Luna tried to break free, the heat of the embers would still ignite her entire body.

Luna was trapped. She couldn’t run away anywhere. No matter how hard she tried, she would never be able to leave Draco Riordan’s prison.

Luna threw back the blanket and was about to get out of bed. But unfortunately, her foot got caught in the blanket—causing her to fall to the floor. Instantly, Luna screamed and groaned in pain.

As Luna fell, her gaze saw Draco coming out of the bathroom wearing only a towel wrapped around his waist. Luna’s expression seemed to change to panic—seeing the man’s figure approaching her.

Luna swallowed hard. The man’s muscular body made all the organs inside Luna’s body seem to writhe. Traces of water still dripped from the man’s muscular body—making Luna not blink even once.

Draco was like a carving of a perfect and stunning Greek God statue. Not having any flaws at all. Muscular arms. Six-pack abs. Strong jawline. Broad chest. And the tattoos on his body that perfected his appearance.

Luna saw the beauty of a creature that God created so perfectly. It would be hypocritical if the girl didn’t admit to admiring Draco Riordan’s physique. It’s just that, behind the perfect physique of the man—there was an arrogant and cruel nature.

Draco’s nature made Luna always afraid to be near the man. Even just seeing his face already made Luna’s courage shrink. Especially now that Luna was only wearing a thick blanket—watching Draco approach her wearing only a thick towel.

Luna moved her body back on the floor. She squeezed the blanket tightly. Her shoulders trembled with fear. Her stomach seemed to churn. She never thought that it would be like this.

Draco lowered his body, parallel to Luna’s body on the floor. The man’s eyes were cold and sharp, piercing the girl. “Still want to run away, hm?” he whispered huskily, piercingly.

Luna didn’t dare answer Draco’s words. All the girl did was shake her head. Her fear enveloped her. Luna’s eyes were already red, holding back her tears from spilling out.

Draco caressed Luna’s cheek a little roughly. “Never intend to run away. If you dare, then you will know the consequences, Luna.” The man brought his lips closer to Luna’s ear. “Last night, I did it very gently. If you dare to run away again, then I can do it so hard that it will make you unable to walk in the morning. You don’t have freedom, Luna. I’ve bought you. That means you’re mine. It’s very inappropriate for you to want to run away from the person who bought you.”

Luna’s tears welled up, falling and soaking her cheeks. Every time Draco spoke, it tore at her heart. She wasn’t an item to be bought and sold. But what could Luna do now? She was trapped in a circle of fire that brought her into suffering.

Luna couldn’t do anything anymore. Even the intention to run away would be impossible. All the girl could do was surrender to the situation. Wanting to scream or anything was still in vain.

“Take a shower. We’ll have breakfast together.” Draco kissed Luna’s lips, then he took off his clothes—putting on pants right in front of Luna.

Luna was surprised by Draco’s actions of changing clothes in front of her. The girl closed her eyes with both hands and her arms squeezed the blanket so that the blanket that wrapped her body didn’t slip.

A crooked smile was painted on Draco’s face, seeing Luna closing her eyes using the girl’s two hands. Very adorable. Even though the girl had seen his naked body before.

“Now you close your eyes, but last night you were moaning calling my name,” Draco said, which instantly made Luna’s face flush with embarrassment.

Luna was still in a state of closing her eyes with her palms. Draco’s words really made her very ashamed! Those vulgar words tickled her, causing fragments of memory in her brain to remember last night. Luna hated this position. A position where she felt cornered.

Draco grabbed Luna’s chin roughly, kissing and gently licking those lips. “Hurry up and clean your body. If you keep covering your naked body with a blanket, don’t blame me if I re-enter you and make you moan my name,” he whispered huskily and vulgarly.

Luna swallowed heavily. Her shoulders trembled hearing what Draco said. Unfortunately, the man’s vulgar words actually managed to make Luna’s womanhood twitch.

Draco straightened his standing position. The man walked away leaving that place. Just as Draco had left—Luna’s tears welled up again, soaking her cheeks.

Luna chewed slowly on the food served in front of her. Even though the breakfast menu was delicious, it still didn’t make Luna have an appetite. The girl ate only so that she wouldn’t get Draco’s anger.

Luna already knew Draco’s temperamental nature. It was no surprise if the man had unstable emotions. She was playing it safe. She didn’t want to get any new problems.

“I have a meeting today. Don’t try to run away. There are already many guards who will be guarding in front. If I get a report that you want to run away, then I’ll make sure that this time I won’t be kind to you anymore! Do you understand, Luna?” Draco hissed sharply and seriously.

Luna nodded quickly with a pale, frightened expression.

Draco finished his breakfast. The man stood up—giving a lick on Luna’s lips—then walked away leaving the girl. There was nothing Luna could do. The girl was even silent when she received a kiss from Draco.

Luna had lived in a golden cage, and would never be free from this golden cage. She didn’t know what her life’s fate would be like next. She also didn’t understand the game of fate in her life.

Draco sat in his grand chair while sipping the wine in his hand. The man’s gaze was straight ahead—storing millions of burning emotions. The man had just finished a meeting. He was still annoyed at Luna for daring to run away.

Since the incident last night, he had asked the guards and security around the apartment where his penthouse unit was located—to be guarded very tightly. Fortunately, he came home early last night. If not, Luna would definitely have run away.

The sound of knocking on the door was heard. Reflexively, Draco turned his gaze towards the door—and interrupted the person knocking on the door to come inside.

“Master.” Nigel lowered his head in front of Draco.

“What is it?” Draco stared sharply at Nigel who was standing in front of him.

“Master, I received news that Miss Luna’s aunt doesn’t accept that you took Miss Luna away. She said she will sue you,” Nigel said, informing him.

Draco smiled cynically hearing Nigel’s report. “Tell that old woman. If she dares to sue me, then just do it. I’m not afraid.”

“Master, but—”

“Are you deaf, Nigel?! I’ve told you before, I’ll throw Luna away when I’m bored!” Draco’s eyes flashed sharply looking at Nigel.

Nigel swallowed hard. “O-okay, Master. I-I understand. I-I’ll take my leave.” He immediately lowered his head, excused himself from Draco’s presence.

Draco exhaled roughly. He was still annoyed with Luna, now the girl’s aunt was making his emotions even more triggered.
