CHAPTER 02

ON THE OTHER SIDE:

A man got down from his luxurious car and headed towards a large building which was widely spread in a large area. Each part of the building was speaking about the wealth of its owner .The name or a tag “KHAN” was shining at the top of the building.

The man gets inside the building. He was greeted by each and every employee working there because he was the CEO of the company “Musa Khan”.

Musa just nodded his head in return for greetings from the employee .He reached the elevator and pressed the button on the floor where his office was .

Musa was a man of height around 6” 4”inches. He has a well built physique. He has a light stubble on his face and a sharp jaw line .In short He was a handsome man .

Musa was doing work in his office .

His office has a large area .A neutral theme was implemented in the office .

He was going through files related to a landlord who unofficially owned the land of poor people .

A sudden knock on his door made Musa come out of his trance of work .

His friend Usman entered the office with a wide grin plastered on his face.

Usman was a man of nearly 5” 9” inches .He had a well maintained body. He loves to enjoy his friends' company .He was quite a fun loving person .

Usman said in a very exciting tone ,”Hello! Musa.”

Musa again buried his eyes in the file and said,” Hye.”

Usman pouted a bit and said ,” Are you not happy after seeing me here?”

Musa said in an uninterested voice, “Not at all ,Usman.”

Usman kept a hand on his heart and said in a fake hurt voice, “You broke my heart,Musa.”

Musa looked up from his file and said ,” Just take your broken heart and get out from here .Let me do my work.”

Usman sat on a chair and said,” What Musa are you always busy with at work?”

Musa looked at Usman with narrowed eyes and said,” Yes, because you don’t do any work properly.”

Usman threw a pen at Musa which Musa caught easily .

He threw the pen in return at Usman. Pen hit Usman's head.

Usman started to rub his head where the pen hit and said ,”Okay , Enough now .You know We four are going with you to the mall for shopping as your dear cousin Amina and Haider want to do some shopping. They want Khalid and me to accompany them as you are such a bored person.”

Musa said,” You all can do anything except work. “and he started to type something on his laptop.

Usman said,” I also do my work ,Brother. I have finished my whole files and collected the details of the landlord as well. We will meet him on the way back from the mall. His office is on the way.”

Musa got somewhat excited from his friend's work and said, “Very Good Usman. I didn’t expect this from you.”

Usman raised his collar and said in a confident tone ,”Don’t judge a book by its cover, Man”.

Musa looked at his friend who was now flying in the sky after hearing a little praise .He asked Usman before he completely flew in the pool of his so-called smartness ,”Where is Khalid?”

Usman came back to normal after hearing Musa’s voice and said, “He is just coming in 15 minutes here.”

Musa received a call from his cousin Haider .

He answered the call .Before he could say something two loud voices boomed from the other side of the call .Musa kept his phone at a distance from his ear .Because his cousins were shouting so loudly that it was enough to burst one’s ear drums easily .

Musa and Usman both covered their ears with hands .Musa said,” Stop you both .Why are you shouting this loud?”

Haider spoke up ,” Brother , You don’t even tell us that you are leaving for office.”

Musa said while removing his hand from ears and said,” I have some work in the office.”

Amina said in a questioning voice,”  Tell us a day of yours that you spend without work.”

Musa said in an apologetic tone ,”Please Forgive me. I am ready to go shopping with both of you.”

Haider said ,”Okay, We will meet you directly at the mall.”

Musa said ,” Okay .Just message me when you leave from home.”

And they cut their call.

Khalid enters the office. He was dusting his clothes and trying to set his ruffled hair.

Khalid was a man of nearly 6 inches. He also having a well maintained physique. He was a typical fun loving person like Usman.

Khalid said in a full irritating voice, “This traffic will cause the death of someone one day.”

Usman started to tease Khalid mode as he was already frustrated from stucking in traffic.

Usman said in a teasing tone ,” What happened to the Tantrum queen ?Why are you getting angry?”

Khalid huffed and said ,” Whom did you call tantrum queen?”

Usman said to Musa,”Who is showing tantrums here Musa, tell me?”

Musa indulged in it and said,” Khalid is the one who is showing tantrums here.”

Usman pointed a finger at Khalid and said, “So You are tantrum queen, Khalid.”

Khalid kept his car keys at the office table and said,” Just Stop both of you .The traffic in which I got stuck was awful. It takes 1 hour for a 15 minute ride.”

Usman started laughing .

Khalid looked at Usman and said,” Why are you laughing ,now?”

Usman said ,”I can do whatever I want.”

Khalid was going to say something but Musa opened his mouth to stop both of them .

Musa said in an irritating voice ,” Guys, Please stop it. Collect the details regarding that landlord, we have to handle him and then move to the mall .If we do not go there they are gonna kill us.”

Usman and Khalid both left Musa’s office and went to their cabins .

Musa also get emerged in his work and after half an hour all of them  left the office in Musa’s car for mall.
