Leonardo came out of the elevator at 8:03am and headed towards his office.

‘Good morning Mr Leonardo, you are in early today’ his surprised secretary, Chloe observed.

He ignored her observation and asked her to sort breakfast for him.

‘What sort of breakfast is this? Coffee and toast, I need a proper breakfast’ he scolded Chloe after she brought in his breakfast.

‘I don’t know, use your brain, and think up what a proper breakfast should be’

She had barely finished eating when she came in to notify him that it was time for his meeting.

‘Excuse me sir?’ she said as he tried to organize his things and move to the conference room.

‘Can I take tomorrow off? I would like to do something very personal and important tomorrow’

‘How do you expect me to cope without an assistant tomorrow?’

‘Whatever, as long as that seat of yours is not empty tomorrow’ He said adjusting his necktie and moving to the conference room.

He was halfway into his presentation when his grandfather worked in to join the meeting.

‘Good one Leo’ he said when he was done.

‘By the next meeting, I will announce who will be the CEO of this company’ he addressed the board and closed the meeting shortly after.

‘I don’t understand you grandpa, am I not the CEO any longer?’ Leonardo asked as soon as the board members filed out of the conference room and he was left alone with Alexandra.

‘You are the acting CEO, you have been acting for so long that you have forgotten that you are acting and not the actual CEO’

‘That should not be a problem then, who else is going to be the CEO if not I?’ Leonardo said confidently.

‘I’m sorry Leo, but I don’t think I want to make you the CEO with your reckless and irresponsible lifestyle, you have a poor public front, everything about you on the papers are how you drink and sleep around with every skinny girl in California’

The rest of the conversation was spent on business discussion, by the end of the day; Leonardo was exhausted and looking forward to going to his favorite bar.

She ignored his question and took the glass from him.

‘No answer?’ He asked her as she returned with his filled glass.

‘Will you give me a bigger tip if I act as your counselor for the night?’

‘Whatever’ she rolled her eyes and left him to attend to someone else
