On the other side, at Julia’s home.

The woman pleaded repeatedly for mercy before Kane finally let her go. He gripped her wrist, his voice hoarse.

“Pregnant and still acting out. Bad girl.”

Julia leaned into his arms, her voice soft and coy.

“I was just worried about you being all pent up.”

Kane chuckled lightly, pinching her cheek.

“Jealous?”

Julia huffed and turned her face away.

“Tomorrow, you’re going to complete the mate bond with another omega, and I’m not allowed to be jealous?”

Kane’s expression darkened. He released her wrist and looked down at the woman lying on the bed, his tone carrying a warning.

“As long as you don’t cause trouble in front of Aria, I can spoil you as much as you want. But if you don’t understand your place…”

Julia’s face shifted slightly. She hadn’t expected that even when she was carrying his child, Kane could still warn her so coldly.

But her greatest strength was knowing when to yield.

“Alpha, I understand. I’ve never thought about competing with Aria for the Luna position.”

Kane pulled her into his embrace.

“Alright, don’t be upset. After the honeymoon, I’ll set aside a whole week just for you, okay?”

“Don’t worry. Even after I become mated, I’ll never neglect you or the child.”
