"No. No. No. And No." Aria promptly raised both palms in the air and gently tilted her head from left to right. Nevertheless, her father is not easily swayed. Does she believe it is a simple task to redirect her father's thoughts?

"Dear M" Mr. Knight lengthened his words as he addressed his daughter. However, she abruptly tilted her head, displaying disinterest in such matters.

It's the age of you to get married .You're having a Brother and sister next . I have to think about them ,too "Mr . Knight explained,politely to his daughter . He knows,it's little bit of difficulty to make his daughter accept for the marriage.But ,still she has the hope and believed she will agree for the marriage .So ,he threatened emotionally

However, Aria, being astute, promptly smirked at her father and tilted her head in response , "Dad! Cease the emotional manipulation. As a lawyer, I've navigated numerous cases, and this isn't a situation where you can corner me. Please refrain from attempting to console me. At 26, I am far from an old lady, and I fail to comprehend why society deems unmarried women over 25 as a concern. I've made it clear—I am not interested in marriage. If your desire is to see your children wedded, then..."

Aria turned and grinned mischievously at her brother and sister.

"See, there are two of them. You can focus on arranging their marriages. I don't have any objections. Please, don't force me into it," Aria expressed calmly.

With a smile, she reached for her law coat, but before she could complete the action, her mother, Prabha, appeared in front of her with a broomstick in hand. Prabha's face had already darkened with anger. Sensing her mother's displeasure, Sathya grinned knowingly.

"Mom, it's already time. I have to leave," Aria stated, maintaining composure despite her mother's evident displeasure.She attempted to escape with a forced grin, but her mother's humming of irritation made her frown, and she eventually gave up.

" Hmm..." Mrs Knight lifted the arch in anger.

"What, Mom? What did I do now?" Aria inquired, her tone a mix of curiosity and defensiveness.

Mrs. Knight threw the broomstick on the floor and crossed her arms around her chest, displaying a clear sign of frustration.

"Now, tell me. What's the reason you are denying the marriage? Tell me; I want to know," Mrs. Knight demanded, her tone firm.

Aria stood helpless in front of her mother, uncertain of what to say. Faced with such direct questioning, she grappled with finding the right words to convey her feelings.

"Mom, I think she is in love with someone," her brother, Daniel responded from the back. Aria ' s eyebrows shot up in surprise. When did she ever mention being in love? She looked at her mom, instantly sensing a glare.

"Mom, I promise I don't love anyone," Aria quickly assured, hoping to dispel any misunderstanding.

"Mom, then maybe she is planning to run away from the marriage," Pravin suggested, speculating on possible reasons.

Her sister, Ariana shouted from the back. Sathya instantly tilted her head and answered, "No, I'm not planning to run away. I just need more time to figure things out."

"Mom, no... no... not like that," Aria quickly clarified, a familiar phrase she often used with her father whenever the topic of marriage came up. Her brother and sister had caught on to this and were now using it to playfully tease her.

"Then, what, Aria?" her mom raised the question. Aria turned to her father, expressing her helplessness.

"Dad, see, it's time for court. And now, she's not allowing me to work. What will I do now?" Aria explained, her father chuckled and tilted his head in amusement.

"I am sorry, Aria . In this matter, I am not going to stop anyone. The only thing I want is for you to consider marriage. I won't worry about anything else. Work is important, but more than that, parents find true happiness when they see their daughters married. So, I won't help you until you agree," her father declared with a firm tone.

Aria frowned and gave her father a glare. Losing all her strength, she sat on the couch helplessly."Dad, I am an Advocate. According to the Constitution of India, under Article 19, I have the right to freedom to choose my profession, and according to Article 21, I have personal liberty..."

"Stop it. Here, no one asked you to speak the laws. Dad and mom are asking you for a simple yes or no regarding the marriage," Daniel snapped with a cunning smirk. Aria glared at him. She realized that, to her family, she was not a lawyer or a judge but simply their daughter.

"I want some time," gritting her teeth, she announced. Only she knows how much she hates the topic of marriage. Like everyone, she too has many expectations for her marriage. But now, everything seems to be unraveling. What will she do? She is not interested in marriage at the moment. She aspires to become a topmost advocate, which is the reason she never entertained romantic interests during her college days. Now, what is she going to do? She can't sacrifice her dream, but she also can't be selfish. Being the first child, it's her duty to shoulder responsibilities.

"That's fine. I hope you will take a good decision," her father consoled, taking a breath and left from there. Mrs. Knight never uttered a word; instead, she moved on silently. On the other side, Daniel and Ariana for some reason, suddenly burst into happiness.
