Summary
Nicholas Hawthorne, also known as Cole, is one of the popular teens in Northwood High. He got the looks, he’s usually the MVP in their basketball matches, and he came from a well-off family just like his friends Gray, Miranda, and Dwayne. He has almost everything and everyone knows him, except the creepy and loner girl in Northwood High—Amara Victorious Lincoln.
PROLOGUE
“Nobody knows about her. People only know her name and face; they will never know her story. We only know about what she says. We will never know what she really feels.”
—Nicholas Hawthorne
PROLOGUE
EVERY TIME SHE walks in, she always gets everyone’s attention. Many would think that she’s some anti-Christ or satanist because of how she presents herself. She usually wears tattered or ripped jeans, black boots or white sneakers, and if not a white shirt, she’ll be wearing a black shirt that tells about how fucked up the world was.
Just like her shirts, she talks a lot of shits and fuck—literally. She curses a lot and then will talk about mind-blowing things.
But nobody knows about her. People only know her name and face; they will never know her story. We only know about what she says. We never know what she really feels.
Who knows the hell she's been through? Nobody.
