Step by Step

Every morning is different from the previous one. It gets some new energy, new hope, new light with itself. With the rising sun, everyone also get up with a hope that their life will also brighten up. It will remove all the negativity from their life and bring the happiness, they wished for.

This morning might be usual for the whole city but there was someone who had planned something different for this day. It was none other than Rob. He was determined to get Tridha in his life anyhow. Even if she doesn’t accept him as the love pf her life, he will be happy, if she accepts him as her friend. Because sometimes love is not only about getting, it’s also about letting go. Love is not in caging your loved ones but letting her fly in the sky is the actual love.

Rob couldn’t do anything alone in the matter of love. It was never his cup of tea. Girls die to get his attention but he has always stayed away from them. For the first time in his life, he wanted to approach a girl but he didn’t know how to. He was confused, nervous and what not. Rob Roy who has been the most confident young businessman, who has the entire business world wrapped around his finger is scared of a girl. If anyone gets to know about this, they will faint on their place for sure because it was something which has never happened before.

So, to deal with the situation Rob had called his buddies. He knew they won’t judge him and always be there by his side. He was sitting with Rishav and Mayur in his cabin. He didn’t have any meeting that time so he was busy thinking about Tridha. Mayur and Rishav were looking at him as if he was an alien. They were tapping their fingers on his table and continuously gazing at him. But Rob was lost in some other world.

Ri (being irritated): Rob, now will you please tell us what’s the matter? Why have called us so urgently? And now you are smiling like this saying nothing. I had an important meeting but I cancelled it because of you. I thought it’s something serious hearing your voice.

M (supporting Rishav): Yes, I completely support Rishav. Do you know because of your phone call, I didn’t even have my breakfast properly? Now please spill the bean quickly. I can’t wait anymore. I have more important things to do.

Rob and Rishav looked at him as if he is some alien landed from other planet. After all foods always come first for Mayur and he didn’t mind getting their look. He just shrugged his shoulder and continued munching the chocolate which was in his pocket.

R (leaving a breath): okay I am telling. But Mayur you won’t cut me in between. Okay? You will speak only after I am done. I had to think a lot that how will I tell you about this. So, please don’t interfere in between.

Mayur nodded his head in approval. Rob then started telling them about Tridha. He shared everything with them and asked what he should do. After he finished Mayur asked,

“So, what is the agenda?”

R (giving him a grin): Making a place in Tridha’s friend list.

He had dreamy look on his face after he finished.

Ri (narrowing his gaze giving him a huh look): So, send her a friend request. It’s so simple. What’s there to think so much? Girls doe to be in your friend list and here you are eating our head for this matter. Are you serious?

R (faking a glare to him): Do you think I am a fool? She is not accepting my friend request. I have already sent her a long time ago. I wouldn’t have called you both so urgently, if it was that simple. Mayur, you are our heart engineer. Won’t you help your friend?

Rob gave Mayur a puppy look who was quiet till now hearing everything carefully. He was rubbing his chin thinking something deeply.

R (pleading): Mr Engineer, do something. I can’t wait any more.

M (in a serious tone): Before that do one thing order a chicken sandwich and burger for me.

Rob nodded his head in disbelief but called his PA to bring them. While Rishav gave him a weird look.

M (after a pause): Why do you want to be in her friend list?

R (shrugging his shoulder): I love her that’s why.

M: Is she single or double?

R (looking at his phone): In her profile I can see she is single.

M (glaring at Rob): Are you an idiot? Now a days everyone keeps their relationship status single in social media even if they are in a relationship. Don’t you know that, stupid? Where is your brain, Rob?

R (dreamily): No problem. Then I will be her friend for life, if she has someone in her life. I won’t create any hurdle in her life. I will be happy in her happiness.

Ri (curiously): OMG!!!! You are a gone case, bro? Is the girl beautiful?

R (making a bad face): How will I say? Her profile doesn’t have her photo and the privacy is oh my God. In every damn thing there is privacy. I can’t see anything properly because of that.

M: It is damn risky. Later you will get to know she doesn’t have hands or legs, think once again. I have a feeling that there is some problem with the girl. Else why a popular RJ like her won’t like to come out and show herself to the world?

R: Mayur, shut up.

M: Okay okay. So, Is the message option available or that is unavailable as well? This option is important. We can’t move ahead without it.

R (being horrified): No… no… it’s available.

M: Great. Then send her a message and write “I call you caffeine. Because your voice doesn’t let me sleep whole night.” Then you can ask questions like where does she study? What does she like? Question like this you know.

R (not being sure): But I have already asked her more personal questions. Now I will ask this, will this look good?

M: How will this boy be in a relationship? (Looking at Rishav.. Rishav also nodded his head in support. They gave him a disappointed look.) There is a pleasure in saying aap then coming to tum. You enjoy that and let her enjoy as well. You are advance than needed, we all know that and we don’t even doubt that. That’s why Roy Industry is always on the top.

R: But yaar first I should say her I am your big fan, please accept my friend request etc etc, without saying all this, at the beginning only diplomatic things. Will it look good?

He asked not being sure of the idea.

M: You shut up. Who is the master here? So, if you want me to help you then follow my instructions. Get it? Else I won’t help you.

Rob nodded his head not having any other option. He can’t do anything without his help. So, he accepted whatever he had said.

M: We will move forward STEP BY STEP. If reply comes, then only we will proceed. Else we have to close the chapter here.

Rob looked at him with a shocking horrified face. But sent the message to her and kept waiting for the reply.
