Celine's POV (Jasmine)

"Hayst it's going to be heavy!" Liam grumbled as we went down to the ground floor of the mall. We were on the fifth floor earlier and there he was, carrying the half million he bought. With so much, he looks like a walking cardboard. haha

after a while he also asked for help to bring it to his house. And she's actually going to give birth at her house.

"Hayst! Tired!" He is still sweating complaints. We already paid for the ones he bought. He just gave the address. he is known so it's okay.

"Wait a minute, I'm peeing." He said and said goodbye. I shook my head as I looked at Liam walking away. Too tired to pee? He likes shopping. It's not like that.

I just sighed and turned my attention to a jewelry section. My eyes caught a ring. For a moment, I remembered something I had hidden in the drawer of Earl's room. Our wedding ring, my wedding ring. I felt sick to my stomach.

"Celine!"

I turned around at the sudden call. If I'm not mistaken, it's Aunt Maggie. Earl's mother.

"T-aunt? Are you here in the Philippines?" I promise. He went to me smiling and quickly hugged me. I don't know why Earl's behavior is really distant from his Mom, because she is very kind to him. It's from the US because they actually have a house there.

"How are you? Yes, I'm here, I want to say hello to you. You and Earl. You know, there's still a bit of a twang to me. I'm the one who's trying so hard to marry you." He said with a smile. I smiled even though I felt a pinch in my chest. That's right, Earl's Mom was the reason why we got married. We're very close to each other. one because he doesn't have a daughter. Because Earl is an only child.

"Yeah, you're right Tita. S-sorry, it seems like I used you." I was so sad that he laughed. Tita is beautiful even though she is old. She's in her late 50's.

"Hahaha, what are you doing? It's like I'm the one who used you to marry my cold hearted daughter. hahaha." He said laughing and inviting me to sit down.

"How are you two anyways? You're 28 already, and Earl is 30. Aren't you planning to have children yet?" He immediately asked a question that worried me. How can I tell Aunt everything?

"Ah, uh... Aunt–

"Actually she's pregnant Mom."

I was surprised by the baritone voice that spoke near me. Aunt and I turned around together.

Earl?

"What? Really? Oh my goodness, congratulations! I'm going to be a grandchild." Tita said excitedly and happily and shook my right hand with a smile. I smiled too.

"But it's not mine."

the smile on Tita's lips suddenly disappeared when she heard what Earl said again. I was surprised when he stood up and immediately slapped Earl in front of many people.

"How could you say that? It's not Celine's job to cheat!" Aunt said angrily. I also stood up and stopped him by the arm.

Earl gave me a bad look.

"Really?" He made a sarcastic promise.

"Earl, I just came back, is this what I'm going to get right away? Why can't you accept Celine and love her as your wife!" Tita firmly promised.

"Then ask her Mom! why did she fill for an annulment?" Earl promised angrily. I didn't know what to do. I just clenched my fists because of the pain I felt. Why would Earl suddenly appear out of nowhere? And He will say that I cheated? How d@re he?

"You filled for an annulment?" Tita said to me. Involuntarily I nodded. I saw anger in his eyes. I was scared, I didn't want him to be angry with me. With her, I felt the presence of a loving mother somehow. I don't want to lose her too.

"What's happening here?"

The three of us turned to the newcomer. It's Liam.

He quickly came to me and looked at me carefully.

"Does something hurt you? Are you dizzy?" He immediately promised and looked at me worriedly.

"Now? Ask her again. Looks like we're done." Earl immediately broke the silence and looked like he was still celebrating.

"You really filled for an annulment Celine? Tell me, is Earl hurting you?" Auntie said it immediately which surprised me. I'm so happy anyway, he believes in me. And that's enough for me.

"Really Mom? you really don't believe me? Just look at her, she cheated on me! She was impregnated by another man. She's a sl*t!" With that, I slap him. I slapped him hard. Tita and even Liam were surprised. But I know they will understand why I did that.

I cried staring at him full of anger.

"When you get to know the truth, you'll regret everything that you said here Earl!" Liam was also very angry. I saw the surprise in Tita's eyes.

A moment later, I felt a sudden pang of pain on my tummy. No!

"The hell!" I heard Liam say so I looked down. I was wearing a yellow vest and I could see the red liquid running down my leg.

"Liam?"

I'm afraid I promise. Even Aunt Maggie panicked.

Liam quickly picked me up and said a word to Earl again before quickly leaving. Liam looked at him directly on his eyes.

"Anything bad happens to Jasmine! I'll make sure, that you regret it!"
