EPISODE TWO

Chloe's Pov

“Chloe, you can’t keep doing this to yourself all the time. It been four months baby, why can’t you move on without him.” My mum uttered outside my room.

“You know I love you so much and I want the best for you dear, why can’t you understand?" She added.

I was mute on my bed with my legs folded together and my head bowed crying. The pain still hurts like hell as if it all happened just yesterday.

“Breakfast is ready, please come downstairs; I made your favorite: French fries, buttermilk pancakes and caesar salad.” She said.

But when she didn’t hear any response from me like always she heaved a long sigh and left my room door silently.

I’m so sorry mum for making you feel hurt and unhappy with me. I also wish to forget what that jerk did to me after all this years that I thought he loved and cared about me but all was just a plain lie to use me.

I got up from my bed moving slowly to the bathroom due to the cause of staying in a stagnant spot without movement for long.

I reached the bathroom and begin to pile off my dress before walking into the shower and turning on the water which was touching every inch of my naked body also cooling the weakness I was feeling a bit with my tears mixed in the water.

Memories of that betrayer with me together clouded my head, how I give him my virginity and the happy moments with him. I never imagined my perfect love life was only behind lies and scandals nothing more or less.

My name is Chloe West, 23 years old and the only child of my parent. A loving, free-spirited and smiley lady who was feeling so satisfied with life having the best and perfect boyfriend ever with my loving and undying love from my parent even though my parent weren’t happy with me being together with Joseph, my heartthrob and everything not until he broke my heart and the word love turned sour inside me.

It all happened back then when I was still at Oxford University in London and Joseph happens to be the most handsome guy in the school who I was seriously crushing on to the point I sent a love message with my name on it telling him I like him and all those stuffs about him being handsome and so on…

So after my love message confession, he told me, he feels the same way I do for him and ask me out which I blindly accepted and we dated till we finished university together and came back to America.

I introduced him to my parent as my boyfriend but they bluntly disagreed of him saying he looks like a bad guy with the bad vibe they get when he comes over to the house.

As it is said, Love is blind, truly it is because I was so blinded by love and didn’t know my parents were only after my own good until five months ago when he told me he can’t wait any longer to take me out.

But I told him to wait a bit longer until we get married so he can take away my virginity and that’s when the problem started, he refused to call even return my calls also when ever I go check him in his apartment he was never around which hurts so much.

So after thinking about it, I decided to let him take my virginity since the attitude he was showing towards me was making me loss my mind already so I paid him a visit that day at his apartment and he turned out to be there and made him do it which was painful and mixed with pleasure.

Our relationship was going great after that until one evening he called me over the phone and told me he never for once loved me, he did all of that because he made a bet with his friends to make me fall deeply in love with him which I fell stupidly into his trap and here I am feeling so miserable.

I think that’s all for today about me. I turned off the shower and took a white towel, wiped my body and wore a bathrobe before walking outta the bathroom.

I dried my blonde hair, applied lotion to my body and selected a simple outfit, a short purple gown and wore it and packed my hair in a dirty bun before heading out downstairs.

“Thank you baby, come have breakfast. I’m sure you’re pretty hungry since you skipped dinner last night.” Mum said rushing her words and pulled me over to the dining.

“Good morning dad.” I murmured to dad who was sitting on the dining table.

“Good morning princess. How are you feeling now?” He asked with a worried expression.

“I’m okay dad.” I answered.

“Dig in honey, it so tasty.” Mum urged after dishing out the food.

“Thanks mum.” I said.

“I’m your mother after all so you don’t need to thank me. Now eat up!” She uttered and I begin to eat up in silence.

“Uhmm… Honey, my best friend Lincoln is coming over, he said he wanna discuss something important with me.” Dad stated.

“Is he coming together with my best friend?” Mum asked alighted.

“Yes dear, I want you to make the maids arrange everywhere before their arrival.” He replied.

“Okay love.” She said and walked away.

“Who is coming dad?” I found myself asking.

“He’s my best friend right from school. You spent most of your years in London with your uncle that’s why you don’t know him but am sure you have heard about the popular and famous “Lincoln companies?” He stated.

“Yeah, I’ve heard about that company.” I responded.

“Well he is the owner but his son has taken over now.” He added and I nod my head and continued with my food.

I was resting my head on my bed deep in thought when heard footsteps, I raised my head up to see dad and mum staring at me.

"Is everything alright?" I asked.

“Everything is alright princess, your mum and I came up with something which we think is the best for you.” Dad said and took a sit on my bed while mum was standing looking nervous.

“Okay but why is mum looking nervous?" I asked in a low voice.

“It's nothing baby, I'm just feeling cold that’s all but I'll be fine.” She replied with a light smile and sat beside dad.

“I’m all ears, tell me.” I urged.

“It gonna be shocking to you but it's for the best princess.” He said holding on to my hands lightly and I nod my head for him to continue.

“You're getting married soon.” He announced.
