Chapter 5: Truth

REBECCA/BELLE POV

Previously.

"Belle, is that you?" I felt someone behind me and I heard a lady saying.

I look behind and lock eyes with the people that I love, no matter how much I hate them.

Present.

William and Blake stop their conversation and look at them.

"John, our baby girl, Belle, is still alive." My mum hugged my dad while crying.

"Are you sure? Belle is already dead. We have seen her dead body and have confirmed that she was killed by a group of the rogue." My dad was shocked at first.

"Dad, why is mum crying?" I saw my brother, Michael, walking towards and looked at mum and questioned.

"Your mum, claim that this lady, Rebecca, is your sister."

He looks at me and observes me from head to toe trying to find out whether his mum is telling the truth.

Suddenly an idea pops out of my mind for perfect revenge, I walk to the stage and take the microphone from Ryan. “Hi everyone again, I'm Rebecca. There's something I need from you all and is really important so please pay attention to what I'm gonna say."

Everyone was whispering among themselves and I began. "I'm Belle, the Daughter of the blue moon crescent beta and the girl who was supposedly killed by a group of the rogue."

Everyone gasps when they hear what I say, especially my family and my mate.

"One thing I would like all of you to know is that the old belle is dead. So I would like you all to call me Rebecca instead. I just hate that name a lot so I seek your understanding."

I looked at my mate who was once my best friend and saw that he has a regret expression.

"What happened to you? What happens to our sweet baby girl?" Suddenly my parents shouted.

"Seriously do I have to say this? That little girl is DEAD!" I looked at them and laughed and said.

"I hate all of you from the bottom of my heart! I don't even fucking understand a single thing about why you guys love Diane more. I was always imagining how it would be like if you all would only pay attention to their only daughter or their biological sister! But that was only what I wanted, but I could not even get it from my own family. That day when I left the pack, I swore to myself that I will never look back and I will make sure that each one of you will suffer what I had been through by faking my own death." My mom started to cry and I continue with what I want to say.

Everyone had those pitiful looks that I really hate a lot.

"I don't need your pity, what I need is all of you to suffer the same pain that I've been."

"We gave you the attention and you say that all we care about is our adopted Sister, Diane. We care for you as equally as Diane." My Brother, Michael, said.

"You say that you all fucking cared about me. If you all fucking pay attention and care for me, I wouldn't have been KIDNAPPED, TORTURED AND ALMOST RAPED!" The anger in me boiled and I shouted.

I look at my family and my mate, especially with that hatred look. Remembering all the memories of that particular day, made me dash out of the party and went into my room.

I felt myself breaking into pieces and crying, pouring all my heart out. At that moment many things were in my head.

"I will never be good enough for them."

"Why out of everyone, I have to suffer the pain?"

"Will I ever get out of this misery?"

Suddenly I heard noises outside of my room, someone shouted which I recognized as William, " Rebecca, babe, please open the door. If not talk to me."

"Leave me ALONE!" I screamed.

"Brother and everyone, let's give her space for now. She needs some time to cool down." I heard Rose saying.

When I no longer hear noises outside, I continue to cry till darkness consumes me.

WILLIAM POV

When Rebecca dash out of the party room, all of us quickly follow her. The truth is I am scared that she will hurt herself again like the time she did after a few weeks of the bad experience.

Flashback.

When I was in my room and about to head to sleep, I smelled blood in the air and it seemed like it was coming from outside. I was curious and headed out of my room and followed the blood scent.

However, when I was getting close to Rebecca's room, the scent of blood became stronger.

The first thing that came to my mind was that Rebecca was hurt. I bang the door loudly, "Rebecca, Are you okay??"

"I'm going to knock the door down if you do not open!" I heard nothing.

She didn't open the door and I quickly kicked the door down so that it would open. Once it was open, I saw Rebecca lying on the floor unconscious and there was a puddle of blood on the floor and a knife that she held in her hand.

"Rebecca, open your eyes! Please don't die." I quickly went to her side and carried her in my arms and said.

I mind linking everyone from the pack and they quickly came into Rebecca's room.

The pack doctor came onto my side. "Alpha William, I need you to carry her into the hospital room now! Or else she will lose a lot of blood."

Hearing him, I quickly carry her and run to the hospital room and place her down on the bed. The nurse cut opens her top and found that there was a big cut on her stomach. The doctor quickly prepares his items to start to clean up the blood and stitch her wounds up.

"I need to speak to you privately." When the doctor was done, he said to me.

"Alpha William, Rebecca just attempted to commit suicide. Luckily she didn't cut that deep or else she will die very fast if you have not spotted her." I walk into my room and the pack doctor explains.

I sigh and say, "Is her condition getting worse?"

"I am afraid, yes. If you do not seek help for her, I am afraid that she will continue this action. From what I've observed, this is not her first time doing it as I have noticed some cuts on her wrist." He said.

"Is there any way we could help her?"

"Yes, bring her to see a psychology doctor. It will definitely improve her mental condition."

"Thank you, doc," I smile sadly at the pack doctor.

With that, he walks out. I went out of my room and returned to check up on Rebecca. She looks so tired and lifeless. My sister was holding onto her hand, crying silently.

I put my hand on my sister's shoulder, "I will promise that I will seek treatment for her and get her better."

My sister cried and nodded her head.

Since that incident, I promise myself that I will take good care of her and make sure that those people who hurt her will get their revenge.

End of Flashback

Unknown POV

I say to her, "Can I ask why you fucking hate her so much?"

"She was so perfect and I hate that in her. I want to break every piece of her until she feels how it is like to have a family."

"Let's just hope that my plan will go smoothly and eventually she will fall hard and everything in her will break. “ I laugh and say.

"I wonder what I am fucking going to do with this crazy ex-mate after I am done." She smirks and laughs evilly and I think to myself.
