Chapter 2

Fallon's POV

He led me through the stairs to the first floor, we turned in the right hallway, "the second room on the left is your room..andd I am sorry for how he reacted" he said softly, I smiled a little and looked up, for a second I forgot to breath. Air clogged in my throat and refused to move in or out, I was gaping at him like a fish!

Holy smoke, this dude is hot.. Chocolate skin (yummmm) and his beautiful..beautiful blue grey eyes and damn his smile!! *Chuckles* I shake my head and look at him (not that deep thank god) he looks kind of amused, "I don't usually get that kind of reaction but thank you" I blushed, liar.

"Hey where have you been? I was lo-- Fallon?" I turned around to see Elisabeth that put a instant smile on my face, "hey Eli!" I said in a small voice

"I see you have met my brother!" She said pointing out to the chocolate factory which confused me

"I didn't get a chance to formally introduce myself, I am Damon Mathews and her brother, well I am adopted!"

"Ooh! You're hot" I realised what i said my my eyes got wide while the two laughed their asses out at me, god why do I have to be so awkward. I face flushed red with embarrassment, he pinched my cheeks, "she is so cute!!" He said and walked away, "I'll see you during dinner sweetcheeks" I blushed even further at his endearment.

"Lol, how do you find him.. hot? Like eww!" She made a disgusted face

"Obviously you'd think like that, he is your brother for crying out loud!" I told her to which she just rolled her eyes, "girl please!!! Anyway, this is your room? Great mine is that one" she said point out the the room exactly opposite to mine.

"Hey, if you're not busy then can you please show me around?" I asked fidgeting awkwardly

"Yeah I'll meet you in the evening, around 5?" She said half inside her room

"Yeah, cool I'll see you then" with a nod we went inside our respective rooms.

The room is so comfy but the owner of the house isn't, such an irony, anyway the room has a comfortable white, ivory and brown mixture. One side of the room faces the thick dense forest while the other has a huge gate, I think it's the bathroom. The room is so big!! And the best part is that it has a built in balcony (a/n: I didn't know wtf to call it but at least there is a picture to demonstrate) I saw my three bags placed in front of the door, I open it to find it's a walk in closet. I mentally face palmed myself, they obviously have a closet that could practically fit my bedroom in it. Walking further into the closet I found a door leading to bathroom and for the love of God it's so fucking nice!!! I wanna cry. I don't know if it's just me but I like my bathroom to be more beautiful than my actual bedroom, I am just weird sue me!

After taking a nice bubble bath, half way through which I slept in the tub, don't judge. I got dressed in an oversized t-shirt then I started to unpack my luggage, my clothes only covered 1/4 th of the closet, whatever! Then I put the bags away and went to sleep for half and hour, after pulling out a ripped mom jeans to pair it with the t-shirt which I'll wear when Elisabeth gets here.

Knock. Knock

I ignored it and turned around.

Knock. Knock.

Still nothing

Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang

I fell off the bed and looked around for the source, the door banged again. I looked at the digital clock near my bed post, it's 5:09 p.m, shit, Elisabeth!

I frantically got up and fell again on my face but I detangled myself from the sheet and opened the door to a very annoyed Elisabeth, I have her a goofy smile, "you're lucky I like you! Get ready" she came inside and sat on the bed. I quickly got dressed and we went our way.

She showed me around the house, it's a two floor mansion one part of which is made up of bulletproof glass which is facing the forest while the other is built with bricks and stones, making the entire mansion 'almost indestructible unless it is bombed', Elisabeth's words!

That sentence made me pretty scared because I am deadly afraid of all kind of violence, unless it's in bed! #don'tjudge

There was a huge balcony, that had a gym yes an open gym in a balcony, mind bobbling but what got my attention the most is the garden, it quite uncommon but perfect.

There aren't many flowers but there are beautiful trees and a medium size pond that is decoration with these textured stone blocks that is glistening under the moon light, I only wonder how beautiful it would be during sunrise. There is also a small place where only two people can sit, it nice and cozy.

So one can say that this DeLuca house is kind of like a play boy mansion, because in every turn you'd find half naked woman jumping and shaking their boobs to anyone. *sigh*

Over all there are 27 rooms and every room has an attached bathroom and closet, which also includes the douche's bedroom which is a master bedroom that is situated in the second floor. There is a theater room, a modern kitchen, three swimming pool, wtf is the use of three?

Anyway, a big game room and there are a few rooms which are beyond reach.

Which means I cannot access it in anyway or form. I actually had fun with Elisabeth, she is a really funny girl, she had a sarcastic comment for anything you throw at her way. It was already 8:20 by the time we were done so we directly went to the kitchen, this place is a freaking maze it'll take me some time to figure my way in and out.

"Hey honey, hi Eliza! Come you're on time, everyone would be here in about a few minutes" mom said while setting up the table. Me and Elisabeth helped mom to set up the table and after an eternity people came inside, there were 15 men (including the jerk and that chocolate factory) and uncountable women, jk there were about 17 women excluding me, mom and Eli.

On my right was Damon while just opposite to me was Eli with her boyfriend maybe and on the head of the table was Mr. De'luca.

"Hey beautiful!" Damon whispered in my ears to which I blushed and hid my face behind my hair and mumbled a soft hey. I heard a chuckle and looked up to Damon, "if your romantic drama is done can we start the dinner" Mr. De'luca snapped at us, I looked at him with wide eyes, the rest of the table started snickering, "you start even without anyone so why ask now?" Damon snapped back at him, both of them were having a serious staring contest, " Hayden, Damon cut it already" a blond girl said who was sitting on the right of Mr. De'luca. Not gonna lie his name Hayden gave me a devine shivers down my spine.

Both of them mumbled something under their breath and started eating, the tension in the dining room was so thick that it could be cut by a butter knife. Everyone ate in an awkward silence and thank god it soon ended, some took their plates in the kitchen while the rest left on the table, ill-mannered idiots.

I took my plate to the kitchen and washed the dishes. I didn't hear the footsteps approaching the kitchen, when I turned I collided with a hard chest, I looked up to see the most beautiful, hypnotic and breath taking sea blue green eyes, my heart started racing in thousand beats.

My eyes trailed down from his eyes to his slightly crocked nose to his plum pink lip, suddenly my mouth felt dry so I licked my lips, "get out of my way hippo" he said looking at me in disgust, I put my head down, nodded and stepped away, "remember not to cross paths with me, the only reason you're living here is because of your mother or else I would have thrown you in the middle of the sea for sharks to devour you!" I felt tears build up in my eyes so I hurried to my bedroom.

I don't know why he hates me so much, I have hardly exchanged words with him

That night I couldn't sleep well, I kept in wondering why couldn't I be as beautiful as others. It's not that I have not tried to loose weight, I have gone to gym started dieting according to my instructor but nothing, I am very ashamed of myself. I don't have looks or figure, i can't even stand up for myself. I need to feel secured, loved and adored...at least just for tonight so I went to mom's room.

I opened the door slowly, mom was on bed applying lotion on her arms, "momma?" I said and came inside after closing the door, she looked at me startled, "hey honey, what's wrong?" She asked worried, I walked towards her and sat down on the bed, "can I sleep with you momma?" I asked with tears streaming down my face, she cuddled me in her arms, I wrapped my arms around her waist and put my head on her breasts.

"Don't cry baby, I am sorry for how Hayden reacted to you, I heard you two talkings and I have him a good lecture. Please don't cry baby, I love you!" She said to which I just hummed and broker my head further into her taking in her earthly scent, it's so calming and relaxing.

No matter what anyone says the embrace of a mother is the best, it can never be complete with anyone or anything and finally that night I feel as sleep feeling loved, protected and secured.
