"CHAPTER 6"
"Where are the children?"
I was suddenly embarrassed when it just slipped out of my mouth. Eh, because I can't stand the silence between Sir Clint and me, that's why I couldn't stop asking. I looked like a wife asking where the children were.
I realized that I am very ambitious with that kind of question.
"They were still asleep when I left to fetch you."
I would assume it would be called, but it would sound like a husband if Sir Clint answered.
Stop it! I'm getting flirty. I just started drinking the coffee given by Sir and focused my attention outside the window. While Sir Clint was focused on driving.
When we arrived at the Villareal's house, we went straight to the kitchen. Sir Clint and I caught up with his parents and his two children having breakfast.
Sir Clevan is not there because as far as I know he has his own condo and is staying there. Amara has returned to Las Vegas.
"Nanny!" Crystoff stood up and greeted me. "You come back!"
I knelt in front of him so that we were equal. He immediately hugged me.
"As I promised you." I hugged him back.
When I got up, I greeted the couple while I helped Crystoff to get back to where he was sitting earlier.
I smiled at Crystal when I looked up at her, she had no emotion and just continued eating. It's really inherited.
"Take your seat," Ma'am Cres pointed to the seat next to Sir Clint's. "And have breakfast, Faye."
"Thank you, Ma'am."
A maid immediately took action and placed a plate, spoon and fork in front of me. Sir Clint I noticed that he only bothered to drink coffee.
"Nanny, I want a hotdog. Get me."
"Crystoff, do it by yourself," Crystal reprimanded her brother "Tss, you did it earlier."
"But I want Nanny to do it for me," Crystoff reasoned.
"Crystal, just let him be," their father interjected so they couldn't do anything.
I took the fork that Crystoff was holding and pierced a hot dog to give it to him.
"Thank you, Nanny!"
"Good to know that you and Crystoff are on the same page right away, Faye," said Sir Fred.
"Your grandson is very dumb, Sir Fred."
"That's true. It's just naughty."
"I'm done. Excuse me." Crystal immediately stood up and went straight upstairs.
"Take a bath, grandchild. And be ready because you will be leaving later," Ma'am Cres added.
"You need a long patience with her, Faye," said Sir Fred to the eldest grandson.
"Yes, Faye. you need a lot of patience with that boy," Ma'am Cres agreed. "He didn't say anything but when he spoke he always seemed to be cursing. What did you do, Clinton? Why is your daughter having that kind of attitude?"
"I don't know, Mom," Sir Clint replied sparingly to Saka's mother and took a sip of coffee.
"You what?" Ma'am Cres raised her voice. "She's your daughter yet you didn't know! Find out what's happening to your daughter, Clinton."
"Honey, calm down, we're in front of the food," Sir Fred told his wife. "As for you, Clinton, you're telling your son what to do."
"She didn't listen to me. She even listens to Amara more."
"Speaking of that, Amara told me that you are always as hostile as you are when you scold Crystal. Avoid that."
Sir Clint didn't move.
"Gosh! Clinton..." Ma'am Cres was stunned before facing me. "I'm sorry, Faye, you witnessed us in this situation and in front of the food."
I just smiled at Ma'am Cres and didn't move because I was also nervous about her sudden outburst. Because it's kind, I just saw it angry.
I looked at Crystoff who fortunately was busy eating so he didn't pay attention to what was happening around him.
"CHAPTER 6" (CONTINUATION)
After we finished breakfast, I accompanied Crystoff upstairs because I was going to bathe him. It took me a while to bathe Crystoff because of his awkwardness. We even chased before I could dress her.
I was brushing Crystoff's hair when Ma'am Cres entered the room where we were.
"Can I talk to you, Faye?"
"Sure."
"Toffy, play first."
"Okay, Mamila!" Crystoff fell to the floor where his toys were scattered.
Ma'am and I sat side by side on the bed.
"Faye, I'm sorry for what happened earlier," Ma'am began.
"That's fine with me. It's normal for parents to tell their children when they make mistakes."
"Right. A parent wants nothing but the best for their children. What parent would ask their children to be with them? But sometimes you children, you misunderstood your parents, right?"
I nodded at what Ma'am Cres said, she was right because when I was with Mom, I thought she was just a joke, but everything she said to me had substance. the days come when I realize that what my mother used to say had a point, that it was for the good of our siblings.
"Just like awhile ago, I told Clinton to avoid being hostile if he spoke to Crystal while I didn't realize that I was the same to him. But I spoke to him again gently a while ago before I came to see you here. then he asked and wondered why I became like that, he said that I'm like a ratatatatat mother to him. He said he just lived in another country, and then I was like that when he suddenly returned to the Philippines. That child is reprimanded, I lost my annoyance with him." Ma'am Cres laughed while telling the story. "You wondered too, what Faye?"
I also laughed a little and answered, "Yes."
Because Ma'am Cres is kind and has a very soft voice so I couldn't imagine how she could get angry.
"I don't know? I'm always irritable. and by the way, Faye, I'm sorry again, I really didn't mean to tell my husband that I no longer want you as his secretary."
"That's right, Ma'am Cres, that's when I was really surprised. I thought Sir Fred was just joking because you hired me as Sir's secretary."
Ma'am was slapped on the forehead. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't know what happened to me until I found out that I'm being moody because I'm already in the menopausal stage."
I nodded at what Ma'am Cres said. "That's why, it's like you come here with a hot head and a changeable mood."
"You're right. that's why my husband always told me that when I get older I'll start acting, that's why I hit it. We're sweet, aren't we?"
I smiled. "Sir, you are so cute."
"I hope you and Clinton or even Clevan, too, soon," whispered Ma'am Cres that reached my ears.
"Yes?" pretend I didn't hear.
"A-ah, nothing, Faye. What I'm saying is that, please take care of my grandchildren, take good care of them. Just call us when there's a problem."
"You can count on it, Ma'am Cres."
After Ma'am and I talked, I went down with Crystoff. Crystal and Sir Clint are already in the living room, waiting for me.
Sir Fred and Ma'am Cres just drove us to the car, they would like to join us in the moving house now, the only case is that Ma'am is lazy so they will visit when they have free time.
