Chapter 2

The news of Jake's return to Alaska caused chaos in the underworld. The main capital city of Juneau was where The Hellsman Mansion was located. The countries in and around the Northen America were all in shock as they heard about Jake's return. He was a kid when he left, and now is an adult of 26. He's cunning, smart, intelligent, ruthless and dangerous. Kill in front of him and he wont even blink.

Richard and Andrea were happy to have Jake back, but they felt Jake's coldness to them very saddening. After all he was away for whole 18yrs, therefore, the lack of warmth couldn't be blamed on him. But Luca did it for him. He cared, loved, disciplined and trained him to be a man he is now. Luca is almost 40 now, but judging his strong built, cold face and dangerous look in his eyes made him look 10-15yrs younger.

After all the inheritance procedures were done with, Richard Hellsman finally decided to spill the tea for Jake on the breach of security in Hellsman Mansion. He called for a private meeting with Andrea, Jake, Luca and his assistant- Old John around midnight. After they all gathered, he looked at each of their faces and started "This might come as a shock, but there's no need for panicking. The enemy has already entered our house and is living under the same roof. One wrong step and we all die."

"What the h----" Luca stopped Jake in between; "Young master, lets' listen first."

Andrea nodded signalling for Richard to continue. "Well, Old John successfully got a clip recorded from a CCTV of the Griffiths Hotel Room. And the the CCTV of the Hellsman Mansion has been tampered with. The security is breached and we can trust the bodyguards anymore as the criminal is in dark and we are exposed."

Old John came up with a clip on his ipad. He then played it and handed the ipad over to Luca. Jake thought of many possible scenarios. The video played and there was Jeffrey and Conrad-- the main bodyguards of Richard, the head of security-- Saul, and Lilia-- Richard's assistant along with Drew Tomlinson and Jacob Mclair, drinking together at the Griffiths Hotel room. Finally there was which seemed like Conrad's voice saying " Richard is set to go to Seattle to see his son Jake along with his wife on the 1st of July." Drew leaned forward, "Tell me more," which piqued Jacob's interest. "Buddy, that old man is your long time enemy, why not give them a proper farewell?!" Drew gave Jacob a pat on his back, "Deal!!"

Jake was furious. "I will get Saul and his men ready, he has the best snipers and will wait at the bridge. Once we see Richard, will shoot him and drag his wife to seattle.. Oh, and John is also going, so they should know where that son of b*tch stays," said Jeffrey adjusting his tie. Drew and Jacob laughed. "You are worthy of my trust Jeffrey," Drew said. "Once the Hellsman Family gets cleared out, we can enjoy ourselves for the years to come," cooed Lilia who was busy moving her tongue all over Jacob's body.

Jake's face turned red in anger, his hands trembling. Nobody had seen him this way before. Jake ran to Richard and hugged him. Richard was taken aback. "My boy, I wish i could hold u like this your entire childhood. I had to keep you away from me against our will. I missed you. Now that you're back, I know you will take care of everything." Richard shed tears for the 1st time since 18yrs. "Are you doing well, Dad? Tell me you are fine.. I will make sure they pay for this and even for the crash 18yrs ago." Jake suddenly remembered Jeff and he felt a tug at his heart. He held his chest and sat down. Luca patted his hair and said "Jakey, remember what i taught you, whenever this happens." Jake looked upto him and nodded.

Richard and Andrea could feel the bond between Luca and Jake, the way Luca called him Jakey instead of young master. "Thank you Luca," Andrea said shedding tears, "You brought him up well. It must have been hard for you. But, you never complained. We are grateful for everything, my son." Luca was touched by Andrea's words, he immediately held Andrea's hand and kissed it "My lady, I have always been loyal. Thats' my religion and my duty. You and Master were like my own brother and sister, then how could I not teach this kid well. Moreover, he never treated me like a bodyguard ever since he was 6yrs. I knew he looked upto me. And back in Seattle, people thought we were father and son. He was good and never troubled me." Jake looked at Luca nas smiled wiping his tears.

"Pops," he said referring to Old John, "Lets get to work then. I just need one person. Somebody who can hack into the system, in short a hacker. Whom we can trust." John nodded, "Yes, young master."

After that Richard asked everybody to go to sleep as it was 2.30 am already.

Next day in Jake's Office.

JAKE'S POV

I'd be lying if i said i wasn't shocked of how Jeffrey, Conrad, Lilia and Saul would sell their loyalty for a few money.

I was sitting my chair turned back towards the big glass window facing the sea. I began wondering about where Jeff could be. Now that I was in Alaska, I felt my need for finding him was growing like anything. Gosh!!! This man had my heart and soul wrapped around him even when i wasn't sure of him being alive. I started making plans to get over with this problem and then start searching for him all over again. I closed my eyes and his little innocent face showed up when----

"May I come in, sir?" I heard somebody. Its weird that i felt drawn to this voice. I turned around and found a boy, in his mid-twenties maybe, tall and fair, black silky hairs flowing over his forehead, and round glasses standing at my office door. He looked a complete nerd.

"May I come in?" he asked for a second time. " Ah.. yes. Yes please." i stuttered coming back to my senses. Was i checking him out?? Oh god. I am going crazy these days just as Luca says.

"Please have a seat," I said walking around my table and taking a seat on the sofa across the window. I observed him for a while.

"So, what's your name? I am Jake Hellsman, but you need not be afraid. I guess we are around same age so please be comfortable." I said noticing his changing expressions.

"Well, my name is Jonathan, 26yrs, Sepcialised in computers. Hacking, coding, retriving data and all aspects of computers are my speciality." He said very comfortably.

"So where do you stay? Like I know i shouldn't ask you, but I would like to know so that I know you wont have problems travelling to and fro."

He raised his eyebrow, "Well.. that's my problem. I can manage." He paused. Then walking upto the window, he removed his glasses and hung them on his shirt.

"When do you want me to start working? I mean, if you can tell me what the problem is, then I can solve it within an hour and leave." he said carefully looking at me.

He was in hurry. "Are we in a hurry, take a seat. Tell me more about yourself." I could see him getting impatient. He didn't reply.

"Jonathan, right?" he nodded. "You.. need to go anywhere?"

He looked upto me. "Yes. If you don't mind. I.. got some.. I got some very important work," he said.

There was something about this guy, that i cudn't put my finger on.

"Alright, Jonathan, I will ask Old John to tell you the details and then you can leave. But before that, i have to ask you something." He nodded.

" Would you like to work for The Hellsman Family?" I asked him leaning further.

"Umm.. I think I can.. I was looking for a permanent job. How much will you pay me?" He asked me with a smirk on his face.

"Well, let's start with 5000 USD/month. Is that ohk with you?" He raised his eyebrows in suprise and smiled.

"Are you kidding me right now. Well then, I gota leave, mister.. whatever---"

"How dare you talk to Young Master in that tone?" Luca interrupted him.

"Luca, that's fine.." I assured him.

"I am serious about what i told you, Jonathan. Will you work for me?" I asked. I hope he doesn't find me desperate.

He thought for a while and said "Yes, Sir."

"Fine then. Il ask John to keep your contract papers ready. You can read and sign them on your way. You can start tomoro. No specific work time, you can come whenever, but if you can't, please let John know a day before. Any emergency, you can just text. And yes.. Family first. Always." I stressed.

He looked at me suprised. "Yeah.. Then.. Il get going.."

"Yeah.. sure." I could not take my eyes off him. Luca poked me from side.

I smiled at him at stood up to shake hands. After that he just left. After he was gone, I felt cold, the same as it feels when somebody holding you in an embrace lets you go.
