Someone barges in with two men. One of them held Hannah by the neck and a knife across her throat.

"Omg...

Harry gasped.

"Hannah"

Ethan called and wanted to cry.

"Am sorry"

"So you think we are not going to find you guys?

The scary man said still holding a knife under Hannah's throat.

I am sorry... Jack"

We are going to pay the boss his money back"

Ethan promised.

"Oh really?

So if we didn't show up here with your sister's life at stake, you won't bother to pay up your debt?

One of Jack's men said.

"Where is boss fucking seventy grand ($70,000)?

Jack asked shouting at him.

"It's not complete yet...

We will pay you back soon"

Ethan replied.

"Well, it's like you don't like your sister"

Jack said ready to cut out her throat when his phone rang in his pocket.

"Yes boss"

He placed the phone in his ear.

He ended the call and placed the phone back in his pocket.

He released Hannah and pushed her to the ground.

"We are coming back for you both...

You can try to run away again, we will always find you and this time, we won't hesitate to kill you both"

Jack said and faced his men.

Let's go, boss needs us".

They all walked outside and Ethan breathed a sigh of relief.

Hannah looked at Ethan angrily.

"Sis, am so sorry..."

He said walking towards Hannah.

You cause all this, where the fuck are we going to see a whole seventy grand to pay now?"

And now we have to move again"

"Well, I have a job that pays you ten grand per day... you just have to work for a week*

I know my sister could be a little stubborn. Well, I have to respect her for that even though she is three years older than me and acts bossy like our dad when our parents were alive.

About our parents, they died in a car accident which I think was staged and since then, we have been on our own, facing life difficulties alone.

Hannah already brought out her luggage box, opened it wide, and began to throw in her clothes.

Ethan walked to her and held her hand.

"When are we going to stop running?"

He asked.

"Just pack your bags, Ethan, and save me the question"

She replied and continued packing.

"So we are truly leaving?

What about your job at the supermarket? Are you going to sacrifice that just for us to move?"

Am also getting a job at Linde Plc for sure, just a matter of time"

I thought we were finally settling down"

Hannah dropped one of her clothes angrily on the bed.

Mr George Quinn walked into the VIP ward where Lauren was admitted.

"Morning, Mr George"

Ellie, (Lauren's secretary) greeted"

How is she feeling now? I heard what happened"

"She is okay now, Doctor Naresh already attended to her"

Lucy and Luke walked in.

Lucy and Luke were Lauren's twin cousins. Lauren resent them so much because of their attitude and how they treated her.

They are like the spoilt Rich brat.

Lucy said acting surprised touching her cheek. She walked to Lauren who was still asleep and touched her head.

"I thought she was faking it"

Lucy said not feeling remorseful.

Luke also said like someone who doesn't care with his hands in his pocket.

He faces Mr George.

"Dad, I was busy when you called. I have to go now

Lauren seems fine after all"

He added and walked out.

Mr. George sighs.

As soon as Luke moved out, Doctor James also walked in.

"Thank goodness you are all here

I have bad news, Am afraid to say"

Miss Ellie was scared.

Lucy just smiled widely.

"What's the bad news, doctor?"

Mr George asked.

"I think she is asthmatic. Asthmatic only develops in children and it's rare to start developing at the adult stage.

So, she is developing asthma?

He thought as he walked through the hospital lobby.

Miss Ellie walked out of the hospital with Lauren.

"Is office going well?"

Lauren asked as they moved toward the vehicle.

Miss Ellie replied.

Lauren said Miss Ellie smiled.

They kept walking but someone stood in front of them, stopping them.

Ethan said surprised as he looked at Ellie and Lauren.

She finally appreciates it.

"And this must be the lady I saved...

How are you feeling now?"

Ethan asked facing Lauren.

"Am fine, thanks

Lauren said and walked away.

Ethan rushed to her.

"Then can you do me a favor since I saved your life?"

So this is what it looks like... Getting bad treatment from someone who I saved her boss's life.

Lauren said and walked to her car leaving Ethan surprised.

Miss Ellie walked away also and opened the car door for Lauren.

Ethan stares at them till Miss Ellie drives out of the hospital compound.

He smiles.

"She is the right person for the job.

I can use her"

He muttered.

"It's a coincidence she just has the same namesake as her"

~Lauren's Mansion~

She opened her house door and staggered inside. She turned on the light and everywhere looked bright again.

"Welcome home, Miss Lauren"

An AI female voice said.

"Jessica, Can you play me the first song on my playlist?"

Lauren asked.

"Yes, Miss Lauren

The AI female voice replied and seconds later a slow boring song began to play as the sound filled the whole room.

Lauren walked to the couch and sat down.

She remembers the doctor's words again.

?"Miss Lauren, you are pregnant"?

The words rang in ear again and she burst into tears like a baby. She stares at the drugs and inhalers she drops on the table.

She cried and buried her head in her palm.

"Why me?"

She asked herself.

The memories of her parent's death flash in her memory again.

"I miss you so much, Dad ... I miss you so much too, Mom"

How I wish you two could be here to console me"

The boring song continues to play.

She picked up her phone from the table and stood up before walking to the kitchen.

She got to the kitchen and took out a knife from the knife stand ready to Stab herself.

"Wait for me, mom and dad... Am coming behind you"

She said and was about to stab herself when her phone rang.

It's Ellie.

?"Hey, Boss...

Are you asleep?"

Miss Ellie asked.

She drops the knife gently.

"About to get some sleep...

Why did you call?"

I just want to ask if I can send the proposal documents to your email inside of your work email.

I don't think your work email is reachable"

*Yeah sure...

You can do that"

"Alright..."

Ellie ended the call.

Suddenly, she heard some crashing sounds in her living room. She quickly checked the cams on her phone.

She gasped as she saw four in black masks holding a gun in her living room.

She guesses they are here to kill her. She quickly dialed 911.

Two men walked into the kitchen and pointed guns at her.

"She is right in here"

One of them called the others.

The other two men walked into the kitchen. All their faces were covered.

"Look, who we have here"

The CEO of Linde Plc"

One of them said. Lauren could recognize that voice.

"Who are you? "

She asked trembling in fear.

Another person walked to her and hit her on the forehead with the back of his gun.

Lauren passed out and fell to the floor. The phone she was holding also fell off.

"911....

What's your emergency?"

A cop's voice sounded from the phone.

One of them stepped on the phone angrily and repeatedly.
