6- So far so good

Naomi's POV

Sooooo... since that night my boss has been avoiding me. It's been like 4 days now and we're now Tuesday. Yay. He dropped me off Friday night and here we are.Ok he is avoiding me but he has not really but like we have this weird tension that you can cut with a blade like honest. Like his says hello in the mornings tells me to do my job, goodnight when he leaves and may I add that he NOW started to leave before me. Like hello what did I do!?!? Apparently he's the real night owl and he usually stays way longer after me leaving. It all started to happen when he dropped me off at my place a couple nights ago...

*Flashback*

"Ok this is me. Thx so much for the food l, the ride home and all the fun we had but mostly the food cause a bitch was hungry." I say laughing and he joins in with a small chuckle. God this guy is so sexy when he smiles. We just stare at each other for a moment then his "Mr. what I say goes" face appears again he turns away and says goodnight with an attitude. I reply and murmured goodnight while opening MY OWN door and walking away. He speeds through the parking lot and out he goes.

Why is he so weird?? Men.

Anyways like i said I could care less really I'm here to secure my bag and later on leave. I'm a registered nurse for crying out loud. I could make more then what he pays me. Ok I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure. I continue my grind and it's now lunch. I have NO FRIENDS HERE. Everyone runs away from me or either gossip about me sleeping with the boss for a spot on top. Like I said before I think, I don't know who's this guy is but all I know is that his rich Rich according to my bffs back home. "Omg SHES such a slut." A girl says "An actual dick rider." Some other girl says and they laugh. "Oh it was quite the ride." I say behind them with a smirk on my face. "Someone has to tame him. Am I right ladies." They look at me with utter shock. OMG I love to tease people. It's what I'm known for. Jk. But really I love to play around sometimes especially if someone is speaking on my name like I'm someone that they know. (ICY- Saweetie lyric reference).

I head out the offices and head to my favourite place Brew it Drew (Ik Ik it's cringey) I open the door and order my usual, an iced caramel macchiato with a BLT sandwich. I might order some more food once I'm back the office. I get hungry a lot. The lovely teenage girl sits me down and tells me my food will be out in no time. I thank her and go on my phone for a while till I feel a presence in front of me and the smell of my delicious food.

"Hi!" I say a little too chirpy for my liking. "Sorry. Hi how are you?" I say more friendly like but yet professional. "I'm good and you?" The cute lightskin guy says. I'm gonna be honest with y'all, I've never been attracted romantically to someone that either darkskin or lightskin. Like yeah I find some of them fine as hell *cough* MICHAEL B. JORDAN *cough* but if not sexually it's no one. Every darskin or lightskin guy I've somewhat started to show interest in or if I know them in general have been nothing but rude to me or they act as if they too good for me. It's the other way around baby boys. (this a reality. Sadly)

"I'm Drew." He says shaking me out of my reverie and sets his hand out. I take it but he quickly kisses my hand. Wow. Fancy much. I laugh a little but a cute one not the one I have with my bffs. I also give him my name and I find out that his owns this coffee shop, no shit Naomi, and several access the country and world. Wow.

We chat and exchange numbers till I tell him that my lunch break is over. He understands and says he has a meeting in a couple of minutes too. So this guy served me my food, made me feel wanted in a way and we talked about real things and got to know each other. Wow I think I have a CRRRUUUUUSDDDSHHSHDVDJDHDNDKSKEVEH. EEEEKKKKK

Oooohhh I forgot to tell y'all about that British asshole. I think that's for another chapter.

So the British guy, I won't say his disgusting name but yeah him he asked me out and I said yes. A couple days later that's when me and the boss man started to be friendly and all getting to know each other and all. One day we were in my office and we where cracking jokes about stupid cringey couplely stuff and my phone was ringing and his name popped up. I pick up and say hello and we talk and he tells me he'll pick me for the date yata yata yata and before he could hang the boss man was like "how do you like your eggs in the morning." And laughed and left my office. British dude goes on and call mes a whore on the phone and cancels the date. I scream over the phone then block his number.

No one will ever disrespect me.
