Chapter 12: Getting closer

Franck did not believe it. His one-night beauty, the one who escaped before he woke up would actually turn out to be the pastry chef.

Franck: And why was she divorced?

Yolande: It was her ex who filed for divorce because she wasn't having children. Now that you know her problem, are you still interested in her?

Frank: More than ever.

Yolande: I'm reassured.

Béa: I'm ready, we can go.

Bea and her client leave. The journey is done in silence. Once there she does her job and when it's time to go home, Franck offers to take her back but she refuses. He accompanies her to her taxi and reminds her of their date.

Once at home, she is greeted by her employees who looked at her questioningly.

Once at the reception, they were led to the room reserved by Franck. The decor was simple and beautiful, which Bea really liked.

The dinner took place very calmly, they had a discussion about their different pasts.

After dinner, he walked her home. Before leaving, he kissed her when she wasn't expecting it and quickly got back into his car before driving off. Even after he left, Bea couldn't believe it.
