Chapter 7

West Pov

"Wazzup, brad." Abegail who just entered Ryu's house greeted me.

"Why do you look troubled?" he immediately asked when he saw my frowning face.

"That Kian because he had a fight with Ryu's guest. His mouth slipped and he said Mheca's name." I reported to Abby.

He covered his mouth due to shock. Because we are not allowed to talk about or tell others what happened between Mheca and Ryu. It's not that Ryu is bitter, he just doesn't want to remember what Ms. did. Cheating on him "Why did you go to see Ryu in that Mheca?" Abby asked in a whisper.

Abby pretends to be concerned but the truth is she just wants to gossip.

"I can only think of one reason, Abby. Ryu wants to end whatever is between him and Mheca."

"For real? As in? Does Ryu like Margaret? Why is he doing this? As far as I know, Ryu is deeply in love with Mheca then after he meets Marga he moves on right away? Unbelievable." Abby promised in disbelief.

Even I was confused. Why is Ryu doing everything for Marga?

"Well, for me Marga is beautiful. I saw her once in a magazine and she's photogenic even though she looks like a fashionista in the 1990's, her smartness is really the only point." he exclaimed.

She's right, Marga just doesn't know how to take care of herself.

"Go ahead, give her a total make over. She's in the guest room." I ordered Abby He immediately winked at me and headed to the guest room. Abegail, is the famous make up artist in Asia so I'm not surprised why Ryu called her.

"Abby's makeover was terrible, she renovated Marga's face." Kian exclaimed while sitting on the sofa.

It's been two hours since Abby entered the guest room and until now she still hasn't come out.

"Are you excited to see the make over of your dream girl?" I studied with Kian.

"I'm going to apologize, I know it was my fault earlier." he snorted at us.

Kian and I both looked towards the guest room when its door suddenly opened. Abby came out first smiling and a very beautiful woman came out next "You thought it was Angel Locsin, right?" Abby asked us laughing.

Marga shyly looked at us and smiled shyly. He has changed a lot, his eyes are more beautiful because he is no longer wearing eyeglasses, his eyebrows are thin and his hair is straight I gave Abby a thumbs up and nodded slightly.

"Your hand is really powerful Abby, you turned the former frog into a human."

We all looked at Kian after he said that. Siravlo is starting to get angry again.

"Just kidding, you look good, Marga. I'll eat what I told you earlier." he laughed back I didn't take it personally. I knew I was hiding something beautiful, that name after so many years I forgot where I hid it." Marga also joked.

"It's a good thing I found it, otherwise you would have died ugly."

We all laughed after Abby said that. Even Ryu did not think the result of Ms.'s make over would be this beautiful. Avedra Prepare yourself Ryuen Salvatore, it looks like you will fall in love a second time.

Ryu Pov

"Are you leaving?" Mheca asked me gently "Hmm." I just responded and nodded slightly.

"You should go home too, it's already late." I added before standing up.

"Ryu... I'm sorry." he exclaimed before downing a glass of wine.

"You're drunk, go get your fiancee." I said to him casually before turning his back "Fiancee? I think he's busy fvcking other girls right now." He was laughing at me so I immediately faced him.

"Do not leave me."

Sadness was on his face after he said that. I just stared at her like I didn't feel any sympathy for her.

"Ryu.. my lovely Ryuen." he exclaimed again before standing up and approaching me. She held my cheek and stared at me thoroughly.

He laughed a little and immediately hugged me. I didn't feel anything right now, her laugh doesn't sound angelic anymore. Her movements don't make me amused and fascinated like before. It's really over.

"I'm drunk now, why don't you leave me here at the bar alone?" he teased.

"Honestly, yes." I replied smiling to him and parted his hair slightly.

"That's why I called your friend to pick you up."

He immediately pushed me after I said that. Is she expecting that I will accompany her until she sobers up? Bullshit

"You really hate me, don't you?" he is still interested.

"Why would I?"

"Because I cheated on you."

He looked away after he shouted that. The uncontrollable stvpidness of human, they're going to make you feel accountable for their own mistakes.

"Stop manipulating me, Mheca. You're not smart enough to win against me." I laughed and scratched the back of my neck "R-ryu. I need you. Come back to me babe, I'll make it work this time." she pleaded.

I looked at my watch and it's already ten o'clock. I need to go home before midnight.

"I have to go. Scarlet must be waiting for me and I don't want to disappoint her." I said with a sigh.

She started to cry after she heard what I said. She's different from what she used to be, she became miserable.

"Scarlet? Your girlfriend? What a beautiful name."

I didn't answer him and just kept looking at him.

"Fuck that b*tch." he exclaimed in shock before giving me a bad look.

"You will never be happy, I'll go to destroy her like I did to you before. You know what I am capable of, Ryu. Don't dare me." His eyes sparkled as he said that "I dare you, Mheca. Destroy her, do it with all your power." I challenged him before turning him away.

She's been ruined, let me see if you can destroy a vengeful woman rising from the ashes.

Marga Pov

I slowly lie down to stretch first. I was tired yesterday to practice introducing myself, maybe because I slipped and instead of Scarlet I said Margaret. When West told me about my new identity, I didn't agree that Ryu's last name would be the one I would take, so I changed it to Scarlet Osveta. Osveta is Croatian word for revenge. So it suits me very well.

"Rise and shine, darling."

I suddenly opened my eyes because of the shock when someone suddenly spoke next to me and Ryu's smiling face opened up to me. I closed my eyes tightly again and immediately woke up to make sure I wasn't squinting.

"Good morning." he greeted me again.

I got up and immediately looked out the window. Shit there is a day.

"We're not late already, are we?" I asked in a panic while looking for my cellphone.

"Oh my god, we're going to be late." I shouted and immediately jumped down on the bed.

"Relax, Marga."

"Scarlet, call me Scarlet from now on." I corrected Ryu.

A smile appeared on his lips and he looked at me earnestly.

"I am the owner, so you don't have to —"

"Get up there and you'll be fine." i cut him off but he just smiled and lazily put his head back on the pillow.

"It's fine if we're going to be late for a couple of hours, Scarlet. We're the boss

Ryu didn't finish what he was going to say when I approached him and he was immediately cornered.

"No! I can never let us be late for the first day of work. So get your a$s off this bed or else..."

He suddenly raised his eyebrows and looked at me stupidly.

"Or else? What are you going to do, darling?"

I gritted my teeth in frustration, he just came back but this man is really wearing out my patience.

He closed his eyes while smiling.

"Do you know how the prince awakened sleeping beauty? I think that method would definitely work on me too. Why don't we give it a try?"

I was stunned after he said that. My god? What the hell is wrong with him?

The time before came into my mind again. We will be late especially if I argue with him.

"Fine." I bent over and crashed my lips against his. I did it real quick, let him take care of his life if he is not satisfied.

"Now get up, don't you dare keep trying my patience, Mr. Salvatore. I swear I'm going to smash your handsome face." I snorted at him before letting go of his collar He just smiled at me and immediately sat on the bed.

"Another punch in the lips, darling." he teased me.

This man is about to really hit me.

"Stop fooling around and get yourself ready. You'll really miss me if we're late."

Marga Pov

"Where is Ryu?" I asked West when we met on the stairs.

"Already outside, waiting for his beautiful secretary." West responded with a smile and helped me down.

I am flattered because all my life I have never heard someone complement me by being beautiful. Always, 'you did great', 'your so smart', 'versatile woman' but no one told me that I am beautiful. Maybe I was really ugly then.

"Thank you, don't you have a job?"

"There, you're a driver. I can't believe it, from being a secretary, to being a gardener and now a driver." he complained so I immediately laughed a little Once I stepped out the main door, the first thing I saw was Ryu, leaning against the car. He was wearing a black suit, well suited for his tall and broad frame.

He grinned at me when our eyes met.

"You are looking pretty great." he praised me.

My eyebrows raised slightly, he told me then that I look pretty good in my pajamas. Then now he will just say, that i look pretty great? Can't he see what I've changed?

I put an end to my thoughts and immediately entered the car.

"Please hurry, West. We need to be there on time." I ordered West so he immediately nodded.

"Easy, Ms. Osveta. There is no need to rush." Ryu told me calmly so I immediately looked at him.

I breathed out slowly, controlling myself from losing my temper so early in the day. I just adjusted my seat and kept my mouth shut, i was always calm and collected no matter what. I used to this, and I would never allow anyone to intimidate me.

"Like darling?" Ryu broke the silence.

"Stop calling me that, Mr. Salvatore. We're technically at work right now, so please address me accordingly." I disobeyed him while raising one eyebrow.

"You know... for a moment there, you looked and sounded very much like Margaret Avedra. Stop glaring and spoke so strictly like that. Scarlet Osveta should be a sweet and sophisticated lady, don't you think?" He made a bitter comment about my behavior earlier.

I sighed and calmed myself down. Ryu and I won't do any good if someone recognizes me because of my personality.

What Abby said earlier entered my mind while she was doing mini-makeup on me "By the way, Mr. Salvatore. Why did you sleep in my bed last night?"
