Chapter 5

Ryu Pov

"Dude, here's the contract." said Kian who had just arrived.

"Thank you."

I took the contract from his hand and read it first "You contracted a lot, how many chix do you have?" Kian laughed and immediately sat next to me.

I just looked at him quickly and immediately returned my gaze to the contract "Do you know why Ryu and Ms. Avedra live together in the same house?" West is curious about Kian.

They're blatantly talking as if I'm not here "I know, why are you asking me? Do I look like a reporter?" Kian answered West with a shrug.

"Not really, but you're gossipy so I thought you knew."

Here we go, they're going to argue until one of them walks out.

"Argue until you want but West, don't you ever walk out. I need to talk to you later." I will and then stand up.

I didn't wait for West's answer and immediately headed to the kitchen. I saw Marga talking to herself as if she's arguing with her conscience.

I took a bite to get his attention before sitting down. She looks worried but desperate. Honestly I don't care about what she's worried about for all I need is her desperation.

"I told West to wait for another hour. Well, still no change of mind?" I started and immediately crossed my arms.

"No." he answered quickly.

"Okay, take a look at this first."

I immediately showed him the folder containing the contract.

"I am giving you a month to decide on whether or not you would marry me. Even if you don't accept my main deal yet, I will still accept the position and give you what you wanted." I explained before I handed her the contract.

"However, within that one month I have my own conditions. All my conditions are written in the contract." I added.

He immediately opened the folder and read what was written on the contract he was holding.

"Are you serious?" he asked in shock after reading the first condition.

"Why? One kiss every night isn't too much, darling."

Marga Pov

"Why? One kiss every night isn't too much, darling."

My lips parted after he said that, is this man even serious about this condition?

"You mean, just one kiss and you're not going to do anything else?" I clarified.

His face was serious while nodding so I just held my breath. It's okay Marga, it's just one kiss.

"Punishment for failing to do condition one, Ryu will be the one to initiate the kiss what the fuck is this? Are you taking advantage of our deal?" wrinkled when I asked him.

He didn't answer me and just kept looking at me. I just returned my eyes to the contract and read it silently.

Condition two: Marga must not touch Ryu while kissing. Punishment, if Marga fails to follow condition two, Marga must grant Ryu one request.

Condition three: Marga must be home before dinner every night.

Condition four: Marga must not be involved with another man within one month.

Punishment: Ryu is free to choose a punishment for Marga and Marga must accept every punishment.

"That is? I mean that is all, right?" I'm sure "You want more, darling?" he asked sarcastically.

"Of course not, I'm already at a loss—"

"Don't worry, darling. As long as you meet the conditions, you won't even need to worry at all about the punishments. However, it's still up to you to decide." he interrupted what I was going to say and immediately leaned back in his seat.

"You still have ten minutes. You can use the remaining time to think through it carefully and still have a chance to back off, Marga." he added while looking at his wristwatch.

Am I going to do this? I am thinking that his conditions are way too suspicious. It's almost ridiculous, honestly. Well, rich people are weird anyways and I don't have enough time to think about this right now.

This man is very suspicious but I have no other choice. I am very determined to do everything to get my revenge.

I immediately picked up the pen attached to the side of the folder.

"You know that once you sign, there will be no more turning back, right?" he promised just as I was about to sign the contract.

"I am well aware of that Mr. Salvatore." I turned to him.

"Consider yourself forewarned." he promised and came slightly closer to me "But keep this in mind, Marga. Once this contract between us is signed you can't run anymore." he added.

My hair stood up as I fought his gaze on me. I raised one eyebrow to hide my second thought.

"I am not going to run. As long as you can give me everything that I want, I can live with your demands and do my job properly." I answered confidently.

He laughed a little and adjusted his seat "Good girl." he exclaimed after I signed the contract.

Ryu Pov

"Alright, now we're already settled why don't you prepare for a date later? I'm going to move the party since you're not yet decided whether you're going to marry me or not." I casually said as I stood up.

"Get ready, darling." I added before turning her back.

"Mr. Salvatore." he stopped me and immediately blocked me.

"I have a perfectly usable name. Please use it." he added and slightly adjusted his glasses.

"Sure, if that's what you wish — Marga darling."

I smiled when I saw her face slowly turning into red.

"You liked that-"

"Of course not." he answered quickly.

It seems that you like it.

I didn't say anything and immediately continued walking. I need to talk to West but this girl keeps stopping me.

"Mr. Salvatore." I heard him calling me but I ignored him.

"Ryu..."

I stopped walking like an idiot after she called me using my first name.

"Hmm?" I turned to him.

"I'm wearing a pajamas right now. You probably won't take me outside wearing this, right?"

"You look pretty good in those pajamas, why not?"

He stormed over to me and looked at me intently.

"I have to go home to get my things from home, come with me." she commanded as if I am her butler.

"I'll buy you everything you need..."

I stopped when I realized something, maybe he had something important to take from his house.

"Alright, I'll come with you. You need to say goodbye to your lovely house."

After I said that, I left him in the kitchen and West went to the living room. They're still arguing like no one intends to surrender. What a childish act.

"I'm going to accept the position."

They stopped arguing and looked at me. They can't believe that I said that.

"Seriously?" West assured.

"Yes, on one condition."

They were looking at me silently and waiting for what I would say next.

"I want Miss Avedra to be my secretary."

Both of their lips parted as if they couldn't believe what I said.

"Are you really serious? You know the chairman will not approve of your decision Ryu. Miss Avedra is the CEO's of "Not anymore, she's now a jobless competent woman." I interrupted what West had to say.

"Dude, she's one of your chicks, isn't she?" West and I both looked at Kian when he asked that.

"She's in need right now. I am thinking that this is the best way to do my job easily. Don't get the wrong idea about my relationship with Marga unless you want to be my secretary?"

"Hell no, you still have no shame in giving orders."

"What's the real reason behind this?"

You're so smart West, but I can't tell you the real reason. I need to protect my client plans.

"That's the least that I can do for my wife."

"What's wrong with you?" they both asked in disbelief.

"I told you, don't get the wrong idea. She's no longer our competitor, she's now my wife."

Kian Pov

"Are they coming?" asked Ms. Avedra to Ryu I really don't get what bossing liked about this girl. She's smart but she's not beautiful, add to that the glasses she's wearing. Compared to bossing's ex, Mheca, this Ms. Avedra.

"We will not go to your house. I got a call that there have a lot of reporters waiting at the whole complex to interview you." Ryu answered him.

"How about my things?" Ms. asked again worriedly. Avedra.

"I told you, I can buy whatever you wan "No thanks, those things are important to me." he interrupted Ryu's words.

Lucky for him, even though West and I have been friends with Ryu for several years, he didn't even think of buying us even briefly.

"Then, leave it to them. Tell them everything you need and they will take your unit." Ryu still taught and taught West and me.

West and I looked at each other as if what the boss said was against us.

"Not allowed." shouted Ms. Avedra so we immediately looked at her. He approached Ryu and whispered something.

"Underwear and bra? They don't mind that." Ryu laughed.

"Ms. Avedra, don't worry I'm not interested in child size." I said laughing so they all looked at me.

"Me too, I saw a lot of things like that. Take note, in different sizes."

Ryu's eyes narrowed after West said that. You're dead west, you're still boasting.

"Shut your mouth and get her stuff, now." West and I left in a panic in front of Ryu and Ms. Avedra. It's like West's shallow sense of humor, instead of being happy with him, you'll get even more annoyed.

"You know, something seems wrong with Ryu now." I'm driving while driving.

"You think? Why?" West asked before hiding his cellphone.

"Think about it, Ms. Avedra is not beautiful, but when she acts like she is obsessed with that girl." I replied while not taking my eyes off the road.

"You don't know what Ryu's really type is "Aren't her types like Mheca? Modest, beautiful, sophisticated and sexy?"

"But not smart."

"Nevertheless, I know Ryu is very angry with Mheca for cheating on Bossing, but if he is only looking for a replacement for his ex, he should have chosen a better one."

It's true, who is looking for a cheap replacement these days? In the posture of Ms. Avedra, Mheca might just laugh at him instead of regretting.

"Don't you know Ms. Avedra?" wrinkled when West asked me.

"It's not in my vocabulary to recognize women who aren't my type." I answered and looked at him for a moment.

"Well, Ms. Avedra is the only famous CEO who brought Avedra Corporation to the top of the business industry. She did it by herself, and now her image is being tarnished by her own family." insisted West before adjusting his seat.

"So you mean, Ryu is just helping Ms. Avedra to get her old image back. No feelings involved?" I'm clear.

"I think, he's going to use Ms. Avedra to take down Deraya's Corporation. Well, for me, the smart is better than the beautiful." he corrected.

"Then, this is a revenge game and Ryu is the host of this game."
