Chapter 6

Even if I'm not ready I can't stop him from what he wants to do to me. Just by his simple touch I feel heat in my body "Xenus... Ahhhh..." I moaned when he blew my femininity and when I looked at him, he hadn't completely removed my undies. "Jhed?" I looked at Xenus when he called me.

“Hmm?” I replied to him. We are already lying in bed and ready to sleep.

"Stay away from my brother, okay?" he said and I stared intently at his face. Is he serious when he pleads with me that I have to avoid his younger brother?

Even though the truth is, I don't like that prince either. Even if he treats me well, I still won't like him because of Xenus.

"I won't really go near him either," I said and he smiled.

He grabbed me around my waist and hugged me tightly. "That's good to hear. Tell me when Zemuis approaches you," he said and I nodded.

"Alright," I answered and he kissed me on my senses.

The next day I woke up early because I also know that my husband wakes up early so I didn't make a mistake.

"It's too early, Jhed. Why are you awake?” he asked me in shock.

"I know that you wake up early because you have work, right?" I asked him with a smile and showed him the suit I had prepared for him. He was still a little surprised but he also smiled at the end.

He walked closer to me and grabbed me by the waist to bring me closer to his body and kissed me sweetly on my forehead.

"Thank you, Jhed. I'll be home early," he said.

"Okay." But the next day Zemuis visited. When he saw me, he smiled at me.

“Hey, Milady. We meet again!” he happily promised.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him without emotion.

"Of course I will only visit you, milady. Did you know that I bought a dictionary? Because of you, I want to learn to understand you better," he said. Why is he doing this?

"Why? That's not important," I said.

"Let's test it. Isn't the word you're beautiful? I am right, right?”

"Xenus is not here," I just promised. I don't want to get close to him even though he shows good intentions towards me.

"Don't change the topic, because it wasn't Xenus that I came here for. You, you and only you," he said with a smile. Why is this one doing this?

"Zemuis."

"Don't trust my brother too much, Milady. He is more dangerous than me. My brother is full of secrets and he is not a good person," he said seriously and I admit that at that time I was nervous. I was suddenly horrified to find out that Xenus was a bad person

"Why are you slandering me about your brother? He is my husband," I told him.

"Husband? I didn't know you were married. But maybe it's because he brought it here at home. Because he only brings Margaret here to his house. But just be careful with Zemuis," he warned me.

I have no reason to doubt Xenus's personality. "I'll be back, Milady. To visit you again," he said and I even stepped back when he held my hand and kissed the back of it.

But I still can't stop thinking about what might happen. But they are a royal family, it is impossible if Xenus becomes a bad person and maybe he is only defaming his older brother.

I looked at the two rings I was wearing now. I don't even remember anything about this thing. I really want to remember that.

I was in the garden of our house when I saw Xenus rushing towards me. I immediately smiled. It's true that he will be home early but why is it so early?

"Are you okay, Xenus?"

"Did Zemuis say anything to you?" he asked me. I shook my head.

“Nothing. Why?” I asked him nervously.

"I'm just worried when I found out that he came here. I can't stop him from coming here because of our father. Jhed...just don't talk to him. Stay away from him, okay?”

Why is he super worried that his brother actually went here? I was confused by him.

"Alright, I'll remember that, Xenus," I said.

9: Meeting Margaret

That was the same day that Zemuis came here and was not followed the next day, but I'm not sure if he will come back here or...maybe he will.

I also notice that the security outside is tighter. Yup, there are bodyguards outside our mansion. Maybe because a prince also lives in this place?

Until now, I still can't believe that Xenus is from a royal family. Even though it was obvious on his face. I left our room and went to the living room. I frowned when I saw that there was a woman sitting on the couch. He is holding a magazine and looks like he is just reading.

She's wearing her light green dress which is super revealing of her skin because it's also short.

"Who are you?" I asked the girl coldly and I immediately got her attention. He stopped what he was reading and immediately closed the magazine before placing it on the center table.

He stood up and I first looked at his green stiletto. I gently shook my head because I saw an image in my mind. It's very familiar.

I took a deep breath. My head just hurts because of that memory, and he didn't even take it off.

"Hi, I know you don't remember me anymore," she said. Even though I was a little surprised because he spoke Tagalog, I didn't reveal that to him.

"Did I know you before?" I asked him.

"I'm Margaret. I'm Xenus' cousin. Hmm, I'm just the adaptive daughter of her Aunt and Uncle. So technically we are not related," he said. Even though there was a smile on his lips, I didn't feel like it was genuine.

I don't have a good feeling about him. There's something with this girl and I can't be sure if she's fake or what. All I can say is that I don't like him.

"Okay. What are you doing here? Are you just visiting my wife?” I asked her and the corners of her lips rose. She was smiling.

"I visited you here, Jhed. Here, I brought this for you.”

He is Xenus's cousin so I have to get along well with him. I approached her and accepted the paper bag she was carrying. An expensive handbag?

"Thank you. Have a sit,” I told her and looked at the maids. I just signaled to them and they immediately got what I wanted to convey to them.

I sat down on the sofa and was still staring at his face. Why is he always smiling? Because that turns into a smile in the end.

"How is your life here, Jhed? You and Xenus are new, eh. Less than a year. Maybe you are still adjusting to your new life," he said.

He knows how to talk as if everything is normal even though I feel something different about him. But I just pretended to be ignorant of what was going on.

"New life?" I asked and raised my eyebrows slightly. Because he meant me, my new life?

“In your new life with Xenus. That's it."

"This is not a new life, Margaret. I guess you forgot that I had an accident and I'm still coming? I have amnesia, or maybe you don't know about that?” I asked him but I still had a smile on my lips so as not to offend him too much because of what he was telling me wrongly.

His eyes were still rolling and he tasted it. She flips her hair too and seems to be forced to smile.

"That's what I mean, Jhed. Because you don't remember anything about your past, that's why I told you that this is your new life," he said. I smiled and nodded. "Well, I can adjust somehow. It's not difficult, I'm with Xenus," I said.

"Eh, my cousin? How is he as your husband?” she asked me, it was obvious that she was very interested in what I was going to answer her.

"It was good. He's a good wife, he always worries about me, eh," I simply answered.

"You're fully recovered, right?"

"Yeah, why?" I asked her back.

"Give Xenus a baby so that there will be children walking around here in your mansion. You know that you and your husband will be happier together when you have a child," he suggested.

"We are not in a rush to have a baby but why not if we have a child sooner, right?" I promised smiling.

"That's good," he said.
