Chapter 3

~ Sylara's POV ~

The morning sun spilled across my face, warm and blinding. I squeezed my eyes shut, refusing to wake because I wanted to stay lost in the memory of last night.

That stranger—God, that man had satisfied me in ways I never thought were possible. I could still feel the echo of his thick, hard dick stretching me, thrusting into me with rough, possessive strokes that claimed every inch of me.

The memory made me shiver. My body still ached with a sweet soreness between my thighs. He hadn’t just fucked me—he ruined me for anyone else. He tore moans out of me I didn’t even know I was capable of.

I thought of how he flipped me over, pinned me down, and fucked me harder every time I begged for more. Even now, my nipples tingled under the sheets and heat coiled low in my stomach, making me wet all over again.

I didn’t mind repeating every moment from last night, but when I looked to the other side of the bed, he wasn’t there.

He had spent hours pounding my pussy, filling me until my legs shook, until I couldn’t even remember my own name. But I could still remember that he had lain next to me after he finally came.

Where did he go? I wondered. But I wasn’t surprised not to find him here. It was just a one-night stand between us and nothing more.

All that mattered now was that I was able to prove that I wasn’t the problem. Alfred didn’t have what it took to make me desire him.

A smile tugged at my lips as I lay back on the bed. Even if my first real orgasm came from a stranger, an older man whose name I still didn’t know—I didn’t care. He made me feel alive. A woman. Not a “stick,” not “a non-living thing,” like Alfred had cruelly called me.

I giggled softly, replaying flashes of last night in my head until a knock on the door jolted me. Still naked, I scrambled into my gown and opened it.

It was a hotel staff member. “Good morning, ma’am. Where’s the man that checked into this room?” she asked politely.

“He already left,” I replied flatly.

“In that case, you’ll need to check out as well. His booking time is over, and we need to prepare the room for the next guest.”

“I’ll leave soon.” I forced a smile and shut the door.

After fixing myself up, I slipped back into the room Ashley and I had originally booked.

“Where the hell did you go last night?!” Ashley demanded the moment I walked in.

“Take a chill pill, girl,” I tried to brush her off with a smile.

“I won’t, Lara! I was so worried about you last night. After you hung up on me, I called you over and over again, but you didn’t answer your goddamn phone. Do you have any idea how worried I was?”

“I’m sorry for making you worry. I didn’t answer the phone because I was caught up with something.”

“Something like what, exactly?” she asked, arms crossed.

I exhaled, then blurted out with a grin, “I got my first real orgasm.”

Ashley stared at me like I had just said the most confusing word in the world.

“Don’t look at me like you don’t know what I’m saying. I had sex with someone last night,” I said, deciding to speak in the language she’d understand.

“You pushed through with it?!” she exclaimed. “Who was it with?”

“I don’t know him. I didn’t even get to know his name. He was gone when I woke up this morning.”

“What?! Why would he do that to you?” Ashley asked with a frown.

“It doesn’t matter, Ash. All I wanted was to have a one-night stand with someone, not look for love or breakfast in bed.”

Ashley leaned closer, whispering like we were sharing a scandal. “So… how was it?”

I gave her a fake serious look, then burst out laughing, jumping to my feet. “Ash… I begged to be fucked. I moaned so loud I thought the walls would cave in.”

Ashley squealed and grabbed my hands, spinning me around. “I knew it! I knew nothing was wrong with you! It was all Alfred’s fault for having a baby dick.”

She then cuddled my arm. “How were you able to meet a man that was able to make you beg for more?”

“Well... I entered the wrong room, which happened to be his, and that’s how it happened,” I said with a smile.

We both dissolved into laughter, bouncing around like teenagers.

“So tell me,” she said, wiggling her eyebrows. “How big was his dick?”

I bit my lip, grinning. “It was huge... so big, thick, and perfect.”

Ashley screamed so loudly I had to hush her. “You nailed it, girl! You’ve got nothing to worry about anymore. Alfred is the non-living thing, not you, Lara!” she said loudly, and I laughed.

A part of me was really happy that I was able to prove my ex-boyfriend wrong—that there was nothing wrong with me.

I don’t know who the strange man from last night was, but I was grateful to him. He made me feel like a woman. Although I might never see him again, I would never forget my night with him.

*

The rest of spring break in Cabo passed quickly before Ashley and I returned to Brooklyn.

My parents were so thrilled to see me. As their only child, they had wanted me to spend the break with them, but I stubbornly chose to go to Cabo specifically to escape Alfred's cruelty.

“How was Cabo? Did you like it?” my mom asked as we ate.

“Yes, it was. I really enjoyed my stay there,” I beamed.

“What did you do while you were there?” my dad asked.

“Nothing much. Ashley and I just explored the city,” I faked a smile at them.

Of course, I wasn’t about to tell them I’d spent a night screaming beneath a stranger’s dick.

“I’m glad you enjoyed your stay there. Have you spoken to Alfred?” my mom asked.

Alfred still hadn’t told his parents he broke up with me. If he had, his mom would have told my mom about it. I didn’t know why he hadn’t told them, but there was no way I’d be getting back together with him, not after the insults he threw in my face.

“Alfred and I already broke up,” I decided to announce the news myself.

Both my parents froze, their cutlery clattering against the plates.

“Why did you both break up? Did it have something to do with you going to Cabo? This is why I had decided against it!” my mom snapped.

“No,” I said firmly. “It didn’t have anything to do with me going to Cabo. Alfred and I were over before Cabo.”

“What did you do?” my dad asked.

I was hurt by his statement. Why would he think I did something wrong to prompt Alfred to break up with me?

“I didn’t do anything, Dad.”

“I’m sure you did something. You’re always so stubborn, Sylara!” my mom raised her voice at me, then sighed.

“Whatever you did to Alfred, apologize to him,” she said firmly.

"What" I blinked.

“You heard your mom. Don’t pretend like you didn’t. Apologize to Alfred and get back with him,” my dad said.

I shook my head and stood up. “I won’t apologize to Alfred because I did nothing wrong. He was the one who chose to break up with me, so why should I apologize to him?” I asked, feeling disappointed in them.

“Because that’s the right thing to do. You both have been together for four years. Are you saying you’re going to throw all that away?” my mom asked.

“People date for seven years and still break up, so four years is nothing. Besides, he was the one who broke up with me. I begged him not to, but he still pushed through with it. So there’s no way I’m doing that again,” I said.

“You think you’ll find a man more deserving than Alfred? He’s from an influential family. You can get married to him immediately after college. Don’t waste this opportunity, Lara!” my dad yelled.

“I’m just twenty-three!” I yelled back at him. “I can still find a man who would marry me—a man who wouldn’t call me names!”

My parents went quiet. “What did Alfred say to you?” they finally asked.

I chortled, wiping the small tears from my eyes. “It’s too late to ask, Mom. But just so you know, I’m not getting back together with Alfred.”

I left them in the dinning room and went to my room, collapsing on the bed.

“I can’t tolerate you anymore, Lara. You’re a stick. A non-living thing. A woman with no sense of touch. I’ve found someone else. Let’s go our separate ways.”

Alfred’s words echoed in my ears. But I didn’t cry. There was no point in crying because the strange man from Cabo was able to prove him wrong.

Whether my parents liked it or not, I won’t get back together with Alfred. I deserve better.

My phone chimed, and it was a text message from Ashley.

"I heard we’ll be having a new statistics professor. From my findings, I heard he’s fucking hot"

I chuckled, imagining her face as she typed it.

Nevertheless, I just hoped that our new professor would be someone who could make me understand statistics. The previous professor we had before spring break was a terrible one.

Exhaling, I lay back on the bed, my mind drifting back to him—that stranger, that night, that huge dick.

It was supposed to be just one night… but God help me, I wanted it again.
