Chapter 1
Ella’s POV
The music was so loud it was almost deafening. The club was packed with people we had never seen before, yet everyone danced as if they had known each other forever.
I swayed my hips, laughing as we danced and enjoyed ourselves. After all, we deserved this—our bodies had worked hard to get us here.
“Ella, did you notice the guy in the black suit staring at you? He’s been watching you ever since we got here,” Maya shouted over the music.
I glanced in the direction she was talking about, then shrugged. “One of the many guys who can’t keep their eyes off us tonight,” I replied, and we burst into laughter.
It was true. We looked amazing. The effort we put into our appearance tonight made the fun even better.
“Mind joining me for a drink?”
A deep baritone voice caught my attention. I turned around to see the most breathtaking man I had ever laid eyes on. He looked like a model straight off a magazine cover.
OMG!!! I screamed internally. But I couldn’t just go off with a stranger. What about Maya?
As I hesitated, Maya suddenly pushed me toward him. I stumbled, landing against his broad chest, and for a moment, it felt like I belonged there.
“Yes, she’d love to join you. You can keep her for as long as you wish,” Maya teased, an evil smile curving her lips.
I knew exactly what she was up to. But I couldn’t deny that I wanted to be right where I was—pressed against this handsome man.
“Shall we?” He gestured toward a table where he had been sitting.
As we sat, he poured us drinks. “I don’t usually come to places like this. Today was rough, so I decided to try something new,” he admitted.
“Oh, that’s fine. Clubs can be whatever you want them to be. Maybe you’re here to unwind from a long day, and I’m here celebrating my new job,” I told him, taking a sip of my drink.
I shouldn’t have asked, but I did anyway. “Do you mind telling me your name?”
He smirked. “It’s better if we don’t. Besides, we’ll never see each other after tonight, baby girl.”
That nickname sent a strange thrill through me, making me smile before I even realized it.
He leaned in closer, his breath warm against my skin. “Let’s go somewhere private. This place is too noisy.”
As the good girl I was, I should have said no and gone back to Maya. But here I was, in his hotel room, drinking, laughing, and sharing secrets with a man I had just met.
There was something about him—something familiar, like I had met him before.
As the night wore on, my vision blurred, signaling that I was getting drunk. I stretched and stood up. “I’d love to go home now, stranger. By 9 AM, I need to be awake—I have work early in the morning.”
I walked over to where he sat, playing with his tie. My legs felt wobbly, but I needed to get my bag, grab my phone, and call Maya to pick me up.
He looked up at me, his gaze dark and unreadable. “You don’t play with fire and expect not to get burned, beautiful.”
My cheeks heated. What is he trying to say? He was charming, sure, but I had to leave now.
“Mr. Stranger, excuse me, but I have to go. I can’t be fooling around—I have a long day ahead of me.”
I picked up my stuff, but he just sat there, watching me like a predator watching its prey.
Then, without warning, he stood and walked toward me. In an instant, he was in front of me, pushing me gently against the wall, closing the space between us.
“Do you know how many girls would kill to be in your position right now?” he asked, a smug grin on his lips.
His arrogance irritated me. To hell with him if he thought I cared about the women he fooled around with. I actually thought he was a nice guy. Maybe I was just deceived by his good looks.
“Get off me, sir. And no, I don’t know how many girls would kill to be in my position, because I don’t care,” I snapped, trying to push him away.
He chuckled. “You really don’t know who I am? I thought you did, but it seems you’re clueless.”
I had no idea who he was, and honestly, I didn’t care. I just wanted to leave—but my body wasn’t cooperating, thanks to the drinks we had.
“Baby girl, I’m not trying to force anything. I just really like your company.” He paused, his eyes flickering to my lips. “And I must say, you have the prettiest lips. I can’t help but fantasize about how they’d taste right now.”
A shiver ran through me. He was undeniably the sexiest man I had ever seen. And the truth I wanted to kiss him, too.
Without warning, his lips crashed onto mine. My eyes widened, but I couldn’t stop myself. I wanted this.
He savored my lips, exploring them, and I melted into him, tasting every part of his mouth. His hand trailed down my thigh, slipping beneath my dress, and a soft moan escaped me.
Satisfaction flickered across his face. He knew exactly what he was doing to me.
His other hand found my breast, teasing my nipple in slow, deliberate circles. My breath hitched. I didn’t want this to stop.
“Does this make you happy?” he whispered against my skin.
I nodded without hesitation. Of course, it made me happy.
He lifted me effortlessly, laying me gently on the bed. My breath quickened as he spread my legs, sliding my panties down.
I didn’t protest. I wanted this.
His mouth moved between my thighs, his tongue working magic that sent me spiraling. I gasped, gripping his hair as pleasure consumed me.
Then, he looked up at me.
“I’m not one to stop myself in the middle of something fun, but… you’re a virgin. Are you sure you want to do this?”
He wasn’t wrong. I had never gone this far with anyone before. But for some reason, I didn’t care.
He didn’t wait for my answer—he seemed to already know my thoughts even before I voiced them out.
In one swift motion, he pulled off his shirt and trousers, climbing onto the bed above me. His gaze softened slightly. “I’ll go easy. It’ll hurt at first, but trust me—you’ll enjoy it afterward.”
And just like that, I gave myself to a man I had met in a club for the first time.
